Everybody's choices so far have been nothing but fags that self-righteous white people listen to.
Ya'll need to get a clue and open your eyes (and ears) to real conscious hip hop albums that real black people listen to.

5. 2 Chainz - B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time
4. Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday
3. Lil Wayne - The Carter IV
2. Rick Ross - God Forgives, I Don't
1. Waka Flocka Flame - Flockaveli

Paris-The devil made me do it.
PE- Fear of a black planet

These two albums opened my eyes to a different view.  Very enlightening.  Especially Paris.  The devil,  and sleeping with the enemy are personal classics.

I'm sorry you have some sort of complex about being white and being a fan of hip-hop at the same time.  If it makes you feel better to diss me then go ahead.  But don't forget your the same type of confused fan who felt they had to diss Eminem when he first came out, only to come around and realize it was okay to be a fan of him around the time Dre's album came out and you realized black people liked him..

I know you play the poindexter sweater role when your grandma comes to town to take you to church on Sundays, but you don't have to be ashamed to be a fan of rap music.

What does anything mean, you illiterate piece of shit.  A lot of words are subjective but we use them anyway, as a form of communication amongst human beings, often to describe feelings and emotions that are unique to the person experiencing them.  Like when I say your a "bitch" I'm describing an emotion I feel after reading your illiterate take on the world.  There may be a better word for that then calling you a "bitch" but ultimately an emotion is an invisible feeling so there is no direct translation.

Saying Jay is a favorite rapper gets you some fucking industry pass that allows you to get past red tape and get included to some fucking VIP parties or some shit like that.  I refuse to believe that all these rappers sincerely believe Jay is one of the greatest.

It's like Eminem used to be like "Fuck Puffy", "Fuck Mase" and then he started getting invited to Puffy's VIP parties and shit like that and you never heard him speak on Puffy after that.

Ain't no bandwagon here, mamaz boy.   We the last onez left bringing the real, live and uncut.   We are actually here because we love hiphop and aren't ashamed of it.  Ironically that's at a premium in a forum that is supposed to be celebrating the art.

First off, you sound like a straight faggot valley girl spelling stuff out like "clownz" and "bitchez". What the fuck is that? Second , you're a fucking retard. I was making the point that I've called you out in in the past but that there was nothing wrong with this thread. I was making the case that despite how I feel about you that there was no reason for guys like Cham to come in threads like this just to troll you. Leave it to an emotional little girl like you to come at me sideways over defending your thread.

Left-handed shake? I was just keeping it real, I was excluding personal feelings, and saying that people shouldn't troll threads like this. Is that so hard to comprehend?  LOL @ you still saying "nicca" after people telling you to stop and you saying you weren't going to say it anymore. I always think that there's no way you can make yourself look worse, but I am continually proven wrong. The funny thing is, If anything, I was expecting heat for defending this thread, but I should have known that dubcc's emotional female member would be the only one to get hurt.

looks like someone forgot to take his medication... again.

my question was serious, what do you (and people as a whole) mean by conscious rap ? because it's a generic term (and not a very accurate term for that matter) that's most of the times misused. usually when someone asks a question, the first step is to define precisely the terms of the question.

this thread very telling about the narcissistic, emotionally unbalanced and self-absorbed ways that you have displayed time and again at the forum. first, you create a thread about a subject, then people come here to seriously discuss the subject and ask legitimate questions, and all you do is focus on things that rubbed you the wrong way (for the wrong reasons) and proceed to bitch about anything but yet fail to focus on the relevant stuff.

because that's what you continually do, this forum to you is just an outlet where you create threads where your expose your opinion just to boast what you self-aggrandizing dude think is a vast knowledge of hip hop but which in reality is only a limited knowledge of the discographies of 8 artists (Pac, Snoop, Dre, DPG, Nas, Dead Prez, etc.). you only care about you and most of the times dodge other people's responses, don't even pay attention to what they have to bring to the table and stay stuck in your misinformed, biased and very childish opinions.

and since you can't cope with contradictory opinions (like normal people do), you immediately resort to using the same insult every time "illiterate shit" thinking it'll make your point stronger when in reality it just shows that you come short of arguments and things to say, now that's illiterate.

You said name five albums...you didn't tell me to name my own five.

I don't really keep a "top five" of this category. I just picked albums for you to expand your limited knowledge. We can all name Nas, Common & Mos Def albums and say "these guys rap about the real shit, dawg" like fucking losers...but I choose to look at Hip Hop through an entire spectrum & enjoy more than just conscious Hip Hop & act like it's a higher power or some shit because it's supposed to be "more serious" or some shit.

Because in reality if I said pick any song from any conscious artist/album named here & either choose that song or...

...this...we'd all know what you'd pick lol.
