Title: Went to a hockey game for the first time in years tonight
Post by: Hack Wilson - real on February 08, 2014, 08:06:39 PM
a college game none the less but it was pretty dope.  i wonder what makes hockey not translate to being a good product on TV because it's sure fun to watch in person.

The broadcasters/announcers. Unless their name is Vin Scully they all suck.

Yeah they are a lot of fun to go to. I've never really watched 'em on TV but I think if I had a local team to root for I would.

Gary Thorne has a good hockey announcer voice, so does Bill Clement.  They would do college playoffs too.  Only way i'd watch hockey now, college & when michigan is on.  But the college school with the best helmets in football & hockey aren't on tv every week.  And don't win the national championship every year either  :(  But it depends on the teams you watch where its good on tv or not.  The devils & stars would be the most boring teams to watch.  Heck even when the devils were winning they would barely sell out.
