most people just glance over it... but if you look at the time period in which the song was created... the intro i think means a little more lol...
gin and juice is one of the hottest songs at the time and pac says "man fck that gin and juice" like its nothing lol.. basically calling it a pussy drink lol..
its like if someone in 95 would have said something at the beginning of a song like.. "man fck sheding tears.. real niggaz dont shed no tearz... only pussy niggaz cry" ... you think pac or any other artist wouldnt have taken offense to that? yea its kind of common words but when its got to do with a title to a hit song i think people will kinda take it as a jab but it could go either way cuz theres no name dropping obviously.. so pac could have been like "nah i didnt mean nothing by it" (when he might have actually did) or just say to his face.. "yea fck your gin and juice AND your mama... hoe" lol..
im sure you get what im saying though... ive always thought that it was a jab a snoop but couldnt wonder why... him having a problem with death row stealing his album could be the reason why.. during that gun range interview he was talking about signing with them and everything.. so i wonder if the interview was done after or before he scrapped the album... cuz i would like to know if that was the reason why he ended up not signing with them right away or if they told him that they would help him on his album because of what happened.... either way its very interesting..
and if you listen to the acapella... the beat does sound A LOT like the gin and juice beat.... minus the melody which cannot be heard..

Interesting. I always thought of it as a bit of a tounge in cheek but after that Natasha Walker interview from a few weeks back, I see your point.
Might look out for other lines like this in R U Still Down and Loyal to the Game.

natasha walker confirmed that Pac felt DPG was jocking lines of his from songs that werent released at the time (i.e. "got my mind on my money, money on my mind" from gotta get mine)
