Wow, the Heat are on fire right now on a 15-4 run
Dwight is ballin
-
this is a dope game...Harden with 10 assists
the Heat might almost be sorry that Wade started and disrupted Lebron's chance of dropping 60 again haha
-
NIK's boyfriend guards Lebron on the last play and makes Lebron take a long three and miss
NIK must be crying over who to root for/against
-
lebron just bricked a three and lost the game...dope
lol@hack thinks of me when he watches these games
-
NIK is hugging his dwight howard LAkers beanie baby as i type this, hoping Dwight returns to him in 4 years

and his "Fight for Dwight" 2013 off season banners that he hung from his bedroom window for anyone who drives by to see lol

lmfao@hack talkin to himself
-
you know NIK shed a tear the day Dwight signed the contract
kinda like a scorned girlfriend seeing her ex out for the first time with a new girl :D
#lakerssuck
-
pretty sure i was on these forums saying i hope we dont re-sign dwight on record, but nice try once again
rofl@hack roots for the rockets all because of me 8)
-
you also predicted a KOBE-LESS lakers with with Howard would somehow beat the Spurs 4-2
yet they got swept 4-0 as anyone with a semi functioning brain would predict. that shows how much you trusted in your ex boyfriend...err imean Dwight. real talk, brodemheimer.
-
i had faith in steve nash....i also underestimated the spurs like i do every year. but yea, dwight showed his true colors in that series. i guess i did overestimate his ability.. there was no goin back from the bitchassness displayed by dwight in that final outing.

i dont think any real self respecting lakers fan wanted him to stay because we wanted him the player to stay after he refused to run the pick and roll and emphasized that he was the 2nd coming of hakeem. especially with how he played during the season (not playing D when they dont give him the ball etc etc)
the only reason why we wanted him to stay is because if he played correctly and knew his role, it would be a lot easier to 1. go to the finals and 2. acquire talent for cheap. after that fiasco last season, how would any fan literally want him on his team because of they liked dwight. the only hope us laker fans had was that he realized his role and be a rodman/mutumbo type of player.
one things forsure, come playoffs, dwight isnt going to be the dude to go to when the game slows down to the half court. it just baffles me, it truly is watered down, if dwight is in such high praises with his lack of fundamentals and talent.
i never liked dwight since he got drafted (always thought he was very handicapped in terms of taking over a game and creating for himself, which is a prerequisite for anyone thats considered the "best") and didnt like him after. i mean who likes a boring bigman that seemingly has extraordinary athleticism but no basketball IQ or talent (no, although u cant teach height, height isnt talent, hell if dwight was 6'6 let alone 6'1 he wouldnt even be in the league, and this dude had dreams of playing PG, what a joke)
NIK was never high on dwight, nor was I, its out of the norm for the lakers to acquire a bigman thats all market and no real basketball skills.
your talking about Mikan, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq. hell all of them can score 30-40 easy in their prime. dwight, lol yeah right, and these bigmen didnt take many baby assists either.
dude has no ground to bitch at anyone with offensive mistakes. defensive, thats another story, but when he was with us he wasnt giving us his all.
and this dude has the be the first guy to take a pay cut to go out of LA. is pretty certain he couldnt handle the pressure and expectations (championship contention) that came with LA, especially without (ironic that it is) having a kobe type of player locked down for the future.
the fact that all the play makers, kobe, nash, blake, had to all go out their way to baby feed dwight explains a lot.

All those centers played in a different game.
Different game, different time.

I love how Laker fans are in denial that it's so obvious Kobe is the reason he left. Not only did he straight up say he left because of him, but the most dominate center of all-time left because of him lol.
Kobe so desperately wants to equal, eclipse or come close to MJ, he won't share the spotlight with someone else. Dwight wasn't allowed to go there and be the superstar he was when he was in Orlando.
Laker fans will cop out, like always, even in response to me right now with "Dwight couldn't handle being a champion or how Kobe was trying to push him towards that" but the reality is Kobe wouldn't Dwight be considered any more than a "soldier of Kobe's to help Kobe win Kobe's sixth ring".
If he was so "scared" of success he wouldn't of gone to a team considered more of a contender than LA, with a much brighter future. And please don't respond to "brighter future" with "Welllll ifffff Kobe comes back 100% annnnnnd iffffff we get a top 3 pick in the draft annnnnnd iffffff Kevin Love comes to LA annnnnnd ifffffff Phil Jackson comes back, we'll be in better shape than Houston" lol.

thats why dwight will never win a ring....he doesn't have the heart of a champion and couldn't respect a GOAT in the game like kobe. he doesn't understand the concept of working together while still respecting your elders and givin' them seniority. i can't imagine what it woulda been like if dwight and mj were on the same team..dwight tryna make jokes about mj behind his back etc like he was doin wit kobe, u think mj woulda had that? same goes for bird, magic, dr. j, wilt etc....all the all-time greats woulda been forced to put dwight in check wit the way he behaves like an insecure clown. that fake shaq shit dont fly when ur not a franchise level talent. but the main reason he left was management. he made it clear that he wanted phil jackson, and they still went ahead and hired d'antoni, who dwight didn't get along with, nor did he fit the offense. if phil was hired, best believe dwight would still be here. and yea, management favoring kobe definitely put a dent in dwight's ego, who was eager to be the franchise player from day 1. but he's not a franchise caliber talent, so thats okay..he's still playin second fiddle to harden, and they have a nice thing goin there, but theyll pretty much be the new denver nuggets. a good team who will typically get bounced early in the playoffs. if they ever win it all, let alone make the finals, i'll be surprised as fuck mayn
-
Dwight took less talented teams to thefinals
-
which proves he has no heart.......
but yea....its more like they took him to the finals, not the other way around

he left because he made a fool out of himself.
houston fans will love him if he makes the playoffs, laker fans will not, especially after all the crying about touches and not playing hard on defense, and REFUSING literally refusing to run the pick and roll. i never heard of that in my entire life.
you take what the defense gives you, theres no such thing as "oh im not running the pick and roll, because my post game is GREAT!"
you think any laker fans would of complained about him leaving or completely disliked him if he just played hard D and ran the pick and roll and played with his heart?
dwight wasnt allowed to be the super star like he was in orlando? You do know, he said his whole team in orlando 'sucks' and needed more help, he wanted to play with stars. he was playing with pau, nash, kobe. shouldnt be any easier if he simply crashed the boards and picked up the garbage, and played hard D and running the P&R.
instead of having our best post up bigman (pau) initiate from the post, we have one of the wost bigmen in the league in terms of post ups (his post up efficiency was dead last. last season), initiate and try to create and make plays. that was a total disaster. jordan hill should be int he post rather than dwight.
lol kobe was not considering him a little soldier, he was giving him the helm to the franchise and said it publicly, but dude had much to learn as kobe said, shit as anyone can see as his fundamentals and basketball IQ improved very little since the day he got drafted.
dwight had a little taste of being in the western conference playoffs BY himself last year, after he complained so much about kobe. and we got swept. dwight isnt gonna be 1st fiddle come playoff, if they reach the WCF that will surprise me.
-
He's running a lot of pick and rolls in Houston
-
THAT JUST PROVES HE'S A BITCH
KARMA KILLS....UBETTABELIEVEIT
-
???
-
He's running a lot of pick and rolls in Houston
yup, which pisses me off.
i dont know if it was because of shaqs comment before the start of last season or what not.
but steve nash publicly came out that dwight literally said he "refused to run the pick and roll" last season and wanted to go into the "post"
either that or the fact taht he realizes he isnt a back 2 the basket player. in the first couple houston games, i've seen where dwight kept bitching about getting it in the post and parson, lin, harden thus ignoring him.
the dude is just ridiculous
-
???
he didn't run the pick in roll in los angeles and pouted like a little bitch because he didn't get what he wanted
he's now running the pick n roll in houston and playing second fiddle to a guy who should be second fiddle
karma is always on the lookout for mufuckaz like Dwight.....he wont win a ring because his head's got no brain n his chest got no heart
-
what a fucking cry baby you are
-
WHAT AM I CRYING ABOUT? WE DISCUSSIN BASKETBALL HERE...OBVIOUSLY, U HAVE NO ANALYTICAL INPUT OUTSIDE OF "GO ROCKETS!"...THIS GROWN FOLK TALK. IF U CANT STAND THE HEAT GET THE FUCK OUT THE OVEN, SON.
REMIND ME TO BUMP THIS THREAD WHEN THE ROCKETS GET BOUNCED
-
which proves he has no heart.......
but yea....its more like they took him to the finals, not the other way around
yes, because that team with an amazing cast of Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkey-glue and Rashard Lewis (post seattle) was a murderers row of future NBA hall of famer's. they carried Dwight to that finals while he put up 2 points a game off the bench, right?
-
all those players u mentioned were in their prime in orlando and all of em were all-star caliber players....stan van gundy's system was based on three point shooting and floor spacing, so those three stars were more than enough to propel the magic to beast in the east. they woulda been the same team with tyson chandler or marcus camby in their prime down low.
-
Dwight was the won winning defensive player of the year and grabbing 14 rebounds a game to go with his 20 points a night. those guys wouldn't be shit without Dwight. Dwight's the only reason Jameer was even an all star that one year.
-
they opened the floor for dwight by bein knock down shooters, leaving him with easy putbacks, spoon-fed dunks, and way more rebounding opportunities....it was the product of stan van gundy's system. not sayin dwight is a bum, but he was there to clean up garbage and defend....the offense revolved around the three-point shooters. thats why i say, u put a big in there who's good enough to crash boards and defend for 40 minutes, and he's guaranteed numbers. now, dwight is a good defender and a good rebounder, but he's not franchise level talent. even now, he's a second fiddle, and we're not even talkin about a championship caliber team, we're talkin bout the rockets........
-
Lol the wahhhbulance is in full effect
-
^son has nothin to say outside of takin side-jabs...never heard him analyze a game or dissect a play.
u a cheerleader in the land of the players, baby boy

they did have great shooters on that team (reddick was a bum back then though) and I'm not saying Dwight is a beast on offense but he's easily a top player in the league. or "franchise" if you wanna say that term.
center is a dying breed and this team is the deepest he's ever played on. by far.
-
he's a top second fiddle due to the fact that he can rebound and defend like a beast when he wants to, i'll give him that....as far as bein the man on a championship contender, that he'll never be.
