Pitch in On a Party is dope, but it doesn't have the replay value of other Quik tracks. The beat is simpler than, say, Roger's Groove - and the complexity of that beat, with all of the dope vocals on top of it, just makes a person able to play it constantly without it ever getting played out.

I have to disagree, it's simple but catchy. I can play that track alllll dayyy longgg without getting bored. The lyrics make me wanna sing loud and false and the beat makes me wanna dance. Perfect tune to kickstart a clubbing night imo

I agree.. Pitch On The Party makes even a two year old kid dancing (My daughter did this, example)
It's so simple..but so funky..it's pop without ceasing to be west coast music OG.
Pitch on Da Party is DJ Quik "Billie Jean". hahahha

Yo homie, I gotta thank you for posting this list. You listed a couple of songs I never heard before, so I peeped em out and found out that they were PURE FIRE!
Never heard "We Don't Love Em" before...that beat is bananas. Also never heard "Let's Get Together," which is hella dope.
