If it's all like Bound 2 I can live with it.

But when I think of spoken word and the way the article describes it, I think of Kanye ranting like he did on the Yeezus tour. Without even rhyming lines or making a cohesive sound.

The way it's described it sounds like Bound 2 will sound twenty times better than the entire album.

Go for it Kanye, shit'll brick harder than that last garbage you put out.

He gets progressively worse with every album. Early 2000's he was the most exciting new artist. Now he's a spoiled whiny fag with an infinitely overinflated ego. That would be tolerable if he was still soul sampling but nah.

Agreed completely, although I can't say I'm convinced people still won't buy this  :-\. Did Yeezus now do well commercially?

From what I understand, around 700,000 bought the physical album or the digital copy. But since 1,000,000 was shipped to stores who have to buy the album in order to sell it, it gets considered "platinum".

recording a spoken word album would cost next to nothing and the sad thing is i bet enough dumbasses would buy it to make money

I've heard "Black Skinhead" and "I Am A God" on the radio along with "Bound 2" so I'd say Yeezus did fairly well commercially with it coming out of left field with no promo, it was more critically panned than anything

^^^yeah but that's due to record label payola. That's the industry norm, not organically blowing up.
