Title: Game's BEST work in the past 5 years?
Post by: Blood$ on May 29, 2014, 06:32:20 PM
I've seen in many threads people claim some of Game's tapes were better than his albums so they've both been included in the poll

looking back I have to say P&P and The Hangover had the most replay value but Hoodmorning was pretty good too... Jesus Piece is the best project sonically but had a few ehh joints

California Republic and Red Room were definitely the weakest

I think as far as a cohesive album, Jesus Piece

As far as just overall bangers, P&P, Hoodmorning, Hangover

R.E.D. CR, Red Room, OKE are just a mess, but you take the best out of all those projects and you could damn near craft a classic LP

OKE had some bangers too but was structured so poorly lol

OKE was sick, its just too bad those songs were all obviously incomplete. But FIVE, Hollywood, Swerve, Kill Everything, In the City, etc - straight bangers.

Id say P&P, The Hangover & Hoodmorning.
They all had many many great tracks on it. And there wasnt really that much filler tracks on them.
OKE had some great songs (In The City, F.I.V.E., Oh Lord, Breakfast...), but the ratchet/club type songs were god awful.

the question is why do you even bother posting in threads period when you never have an answer or contribution? lol

I voted for Brake Lights, I still listen to some songs off that tape. both Purp and Patron mixtape are good as well. out of albums I prefer R.E.D. he had a chance to make his best one with it, if he put all the leaked songs and some mixtape tracks on it. I even had a tracklist how it could have looked

If you hand selected all the options into a 15 track album, I'd still take The Documentary & Doctor's Advocate over it lol.

I thought Jesus Piece was a good album but it would have been great with 75% less features.

You said it best.  I made my own mix tape with 14 good songs off all the above to vote on.  The Game needs a mentor because he's all over the place.  Lost his West card in my opinion.
