Haven't heard many people commenting on this album. Very dope release by Damani, everyone should check this out. The vibe of this album is really consistent jazz/soul, really smooth production and Damani flow on awesome on each track.

Heard this album at David's crip, i've never even heard of this Damani Nkosi. but the album is incredible, it's a real album! no fillers! with a jazzy/soulful vibe, not just random songs. I Love it!
and i totally agree with David! It's some grown man shit right here and it needs to be recognized more.
Don't sleep on it people. Give it a go!

This album is excellent!!!!! This album honestly gave me hope in real music again, he took his time with this and u can tell that he put his heart and soul into it, Thank you for this post because I would have never known that this was out there

Do I hear TERRACE MARTIN playing sax on some of these songs? I don't see his name mentioned anywhere in connection with this project, but it would surprise me if he were NOT on it, since Damani is working with so many of Terrace's collaborators: Problem, Robert Glasper, IllCamille, Bad Lucc, etc.

Still need to check this out, i remember damani mostly from when he was with snoop and in the dubb union group (which was dope btw) and i always liked him. Need to give this a listen, based on your reviews here it should be worth it.

Its not Terrace Martin. Saxophone is Kamasi Washington a Californian jazz saxophonist from Inglewood.

And lyrics more mature than a Lisa Ann flick. Also the fact that they made the effort to press up CD's (and vinyls?) anyway is kinda respectable in itself these days, considering that this won't sell much.
