Looks like some of the NL West teams have a new strategy where they don't allow the opponent to have any hits in order to give themselves an advantage. I can't believe it's taken everybody this long to realize this.

Happy for him, funny how he's had these two after he clearly fell out of his prime. On a side note, 2006 MLB Draft: With Tim Lincecum, Max Scherzer and Clayton Fucking Kershaw available the Mariners take Brandon Morrow.

As depressing as that may be, at least Morrow isn't Jeff Clement.
In retrospect the 05-07 draft classes were quite something though. Just imagine what would've happened if the M's had taken Troy Tulowitzki (or Ryan Braun or Ryan Zimmerman or Andrew McCutchen) in '05, Clayton Kershaw (or Tim Lincecum or Max Scherzer) in '06 and Jason Heyward in '07.

ouch
I still remember when Scherzer came up with Arizona he was so highly praised.....yet the D-bags gave up on him mad early and now he's a star in Detroit (who is probably heading to the Yankees in free agency lol)

Oh no doubt that was worse, I just brought Lincecum up because of the topic. But that year Tulowitzki himself said that the Mariners had said they were gonna take him, but apparently they decided against it at the last minute because they already had a shortstop, Yunieski Betancourt *facepalm*
