@DAZDILLINGER YEAH ITS ABOUT DAT TIME TO START ON RETALITION REVENGE & GETBAC 2 PRODUCED BY @DAZDILLINGER ALL SONGS pic.twitter.com/kRMj7UpqH5
Based on the last track produced by him on Currensy 2012 tape. It will be good.
-
when he is producing all and trippy keez is not involved, then it could be good.
-
Yea, pls invite people who were featured on original - Val Young, Tray Deee, WC, Kurupt, Snoop, Bad Azz. Shame that Prince Ital Joe died, thx to him some tracks had unique a climate.

NOBODY wants another part 2 album ever!
Forget it, not just Daz but all artist.
Make a new fresh album don't want to live from the legacy.

Exactly. This trend is pointless. All it does is lead to fans getting over-inflated expectations and then crying when they hear the music and realize it's just a new album with a "sequel" title for gimmick purposes.

If They re-remastered all 2Pac tracks on Death Row vaults..Without changing anything..DJ Quik just add little touches ..like 96'..and then choose the best 30 tracks..AEOM Pt 2 would be the only exception. (because the tracks were recorded in the same era that Part 1)

it will be what

Daz produced most of the tracks on all eyez on me, not quik nigga.

yeah, what has Will B got to do with this?!?
--------------------------
agree with other people in here: making a part 2 of a popular album fails 99% of the times, no matter how good the album is fans will be disappointed because their expecations are too high
if we can convince Daz to put good people on the album and create a good westcoast sound we could at least get another good Daz album
but don't get hyped too much, you know most of the projects daz announces never see the light of day

DJ QUIK mixed a big part of the album ...touches on mixing process
-
it will be a disappointment to those expecting much more than an average Daz album

It would not be the "exception". "All Eyez On Me" was Pac coming out of prison and returning to the game with Death Row. He was alive to create and oversee that project. Putting together a double album full of studio scraps does not signify a legitimate follow-up.

i'd kill for a 2pac Lost Sessions like they did with SNoop

Hopefully, they would mix it better than the Snoop one.

If he's going to revisit an album, he needs to do a Raw 2. Unless he pulls a 'Pac verse out of his ass, it can't be R,R&GB 2. Plus, too much unrealistic expectation on Kurupt, his last few Daz album appearance (aside from My Homegirl) have been horrendous.

Why not? Why does adding "Part 2" to an album immediately mean they are going to use the EXACT same people anyway? This is what I was talking about earlier with people going overboard with the nostalgia and being disappointed because they set expectations that are nowhere near realistic.

because the 2pac verse is what made his album a little more more memorable to me than the mess known as the Doggfather.
oh and the 4 Kurupt verses were all sick too.

So why else would he call the album part 2 if he's not going to revisit something from the 1st album, either with same guests or session players. When DJ Quik was speaking about making a Rhythm-Al-Ism 2, he said he still had the same beat samples so that makes perfect sense to me.
Otherwise what would you expect from the album, my dude?
-
Eminem dropped a MMLP2 and it sold like hot cakes (not making comparisons to Daz) and it was nothing like MMLP
-
This album probaly gon' suck...
-
Does anybody know what's up with Carl "Butch" Smalls and Sean "Barney Rubble" Thomas doing these days? I wonder if Daz is still cool with them.

Right. The only way it's gonna get my interest is if Daz really goes back and brings a lot of elements from the O.G. Some kind of nostalgic look back. Call me stuck in the past if you want.. but I can go listen to Reggae if I want to hear new shit.
