Dope interview. Mopreme is a real nigga - I always liked thee song he did dissing Funkmaster Flex. He should drop more music these days.

Does anybody know when and where Kato appears in the Gotta Get Mine video? Maybe someone has a picture or a freeze frame.

Start watching at 1:35 when Pac's shirtless and Big Skye & Kato are in the dark room with him.

about time Jmix asks a legit hard-hitting question after all these years of "was 2pac a blood" interviews

props Jesse, good work here.  salute for this interview...no sarcasm.  i've always wanted to hear someone else from the Outlaw crew answer this question ever since i asked Napoleon about it in person in 2008.  Napoleon danced around the issue by just admitting that yes there was friction and telling me he was impressed that i knew about Stretch  (without knowing i worked for Live-squad.com back in the day)

@ Hack Brodenheimer

Everyone knew Pac and Stretch had beef and knew why. Pac speaks on it in depth in the In His Own Words interview. The Blood question is the subject that has been touched on the least out of the two and that most people dance around or out right lie about. J already said that he asked Morpreme about the Blood ish too. Stop hatin' because you don't care about that angle and don't act like just because you don't want to know about it means that when it's asked he's watering down questions. And if someone doesn't know who Stretch is at this point then they don't know Hip Hop.

I'll say it again. If you don't know who Stretch is then you don't know Hip Hop. I'm not denying that people don't know who he is, I'm just saying that those people who don't aren't Hip Hop.

As much as I hate to say it, the Live Squad is generally viewed as a footnote in 2pac's career by the uneducated rap fan.  Live Squad isn't Wu Tang like you are describing them to be.  That's assuming people know who the Live Squad even is.  I'll always blame Tommy Boy for being bitches but it's not like they were done after that deal was over, they still could have prospered.  Too bad Nas didn't ask Stretch to rap on anything with him in '95.

*sigh*
I'm not making them to be Wu Tang or even said that they were big at all. I'm quite aware of their status. But being featured on Pac's first two albums, Thug Life, above the rim soundtrack and doing production on It Was Written, in the movie Bullet etc. should ring bells with Hip Hop heads. That's just a few things that they've been apart of. But to act like Hip Hip heads aren't aware of the material I mentioned and then keep arguing the point is silly as hell. They have been featured on classic material that have sold millions of copies doing the golden era of Hip Hip. I stand by my statement.

Pac's greatest hits have sold over ten million copies and Stretch is on that album. R U Still down is at four million and Stretch is on it, above the rim is at two million sold and Stretch is on it. Hip Hop listeners know who Stretch is fam. There are more fans who care than don't.
