I had no clue that Bad Azz dropped this last tuesday, until last nite when I checked on here. I am a big fan of bad azz and I been waitin on this one, and I had no clue it was commin out last tuesday. Not only that, today I went to go buy it and 3/4 record stores didn't have it. I didn't even check the 4th one cause I knew there was no way. And 2 of those stores was Best Buy and Wherehouse. And it ain't like I live in Poland or something, I live in Cali, in a decent sized town. No wonder these rappers can't sell shit.

ya i saw Bad Azz at only 2 places and i went to 5 places and i looked 4 it at all the places cuz i was tryin 2 find the better deal..... FYE had it hear with the DVD so u mite wanna try there

yeah over here it got pushed back so its coming out on April 8th...i have called about 5 places and they all say April 8th...i called places like Tower, Best Buy, Wherehouse....all say the same...

tru tru, and another reason i feel is cuz they jus dont know how to make a hit single by themselves or make good songs by themselves......its like without a dre u cant do that shit, i mean thers enough kats with talent on the west and dope lyrics but u need more than that to blow the fuck up these days,

Nah, U got that all wrong......It's not tha WEST......It's bayside distribution......They fuckin alot of artists over, B-12 tha co-owner is really hated on right now, there are alot of fishy shit goin on with that company.....They put out damm near every major bay album which usually flops, They put out some South Cali shit too, like this Bad Azz one & some of Daz's shit.....Dats why I perdict they gonna fall apart.....but then again, they might not cuz they are tha biggest Distribution company tha bay has, next to City Hall & shit.....
This is why I waz like WHAAAT on that 411 post on Bad Azz's new album because it said that it will be distributed by BaySide.....I knew it's gonna flop.....

i have had my run in's with bayside before, like they the way they fucked up on Mac Mall's Illegal Business? re-release
i hope it comes out next week on the 8th or i aint buying it >:(

oh hmmmmm well they had it here in Seattle at the mall i dunno but maybe april 8th (the real relase date) everywhere will have it

They had it here in Atlanta too, at the FYE (I didn't go looking around other places because it was Opening Day!!) with the DVD. Kinda pricey though, $17 but that's with the CD and DVD.

It's a grip of other reasons the West ain't doin good.
For one, outside of L.A., most people I know don't like anything from the West unless it's Dre or Snoop. Basically, that's because the radio stations I hear in places such as Florida don't play too much of anything West Coast that is new. I hear more old West Coast songs than new, and that makes us look even worst because it basically says "y'all had your chance." I have heard both Snoop singles, 2Pac still ballin and thug mansion, WC The Streetz and Throw yo hood up (I heard throw yo hood up once), and those are the ONLY west coast songs I have heard on the radio since I have been in school down here. The radio stations barely play anything we make...also, I think 2001 was the most slept on year in the west, and only we knew about the albums out such as DPG Dillinger and Gotti and Bad Azz Personal Business.
I hate to put it on Dre but also, when people see Dre workin with everybody but west coast artists nowadays, people outside of home really are like "Your best man doesn't even like the West coast"

damn thats alot of peeps who have said they are dissapointed in the new Bad Azz album, why is he fukin with Big Hollis now??? he had one dope beat on Personal Business but damn he making beats like Timbaland and Neptunes now? fuck that i wanna hear bad azz over some smooth ass westcoast beats, none of the club shit, i will probably buy it used or cheap cause i aint spending over 10 bucks for it

True, Hollis is one of those dudes who has some coo beats but u would never expect him to do a complete album with all tite beats. He has those type of beats that are coo but nothin that make u want to get up and walk to it, like "got beef." Bad Azz sounded best over Blaqthoven and Battlecat.

Radio is a MAJOR factor....They never play West shit unless it's on like a friday night or somethin....
Distribution Companies are a MAJOR factor....Fuckers like BaySide haven't even opened shop in tha East & they eat a big percentage or they fuck U over....
There's too many gangstas or just plain "dumb" muthafuckaz pushin themselves in da game....They aint know nuttin about tha business, mufuckaz like that either EAT muthafuckaz or get ATE....Cuz they like Basketball players from High Skool jumpin quickly into tha NBA, they dunno tha business, they either get screwed, or they pull a Kobe and Eat up otha muthfucaz....But how often does that happen? almost never.....
People like Dre are another problem....Mufucaz aint helpin out, EVERY muthafuca be charging for verses now, I mean wtf? There's rappers out here who have put out an album which has sold like 10,000 copies and now they charge $500 for 16 bars....It's ridiculous nowadayz, there's no unity....Even yur affiliates is tryin 2 eat off U....
And tha game in da west is too crowded, everybody and they mama is rappin now, Everybody and they mama got a label, everybody is involved some how makin they chump change....All da crumbs are gettin collected off tha table, those fuckin crumbs can be made into castles, but too many mufuckaz is hungry tryin 2 eat....There's enough crumbs on da table 2 keep everyone happy, trust me, there is, but there's just not enough for 1 person to BLOW with....Real Talk.
It's strictly survival of the fittest, what more is there 2 say?

bad azz album ain't bad at all. It is pretty dope, u should definately support him by buying this album. The beats ain't bad, some people just expect everything to be perfect. I mean I don't think I have heard gangsta T say any album released within the last 5 years is at least an 8/10. U can't just compare every album to the classics.

yeah I picked up that bad azz about 2 weeks ago. i've noticed sometimes an album will have a release date and some stores don't realize that it's been pushed back or fail to recognize it, but legally they could get fucked. i picked it up at a lil mom n pop shop out here in socal. i have not had a chance to hear the whole album, but i bumped it on my way home and i was feeling it. but, i didn't get no DVD with mine, kinda pissed about that.
funny thing is A LOT of westcoast artists (especially more underground ones) actually self-manufacture and distribute CD's they made to independent record stores out here in L.A. like Amoeba, Aron's, Pennylane, etc. sometimes there CD-R's. i just recently picked up another Phil The Agony CD titled "Hulk Steady" and another Krondon CD titled "Black Goldmember Vol. 2". Both are pretty tight and they have Mitchy Slick & Xzibit on them, among others.
sad part is that a lot of underground cats that are pretty dope never get the promo they deserve and meanwhile you got all this mainstream garbage being sold to teeny boppers. peace!!

and stop tellin everyone to support new bad azz album or new snoop..if these albums suck, they suck...no need to support them !!!
if they wanna have timbaland beats on there albums, they shouldnt expect to get any love from cali fans !
