"Honestly, I was offended by the whole process," Parsons told Yahoo Sports on Monday in a phone interview. "They publicly said that they were going out looking for a third star when I thought they had one right in front of them. I guess that's just how they viewed me as a player. I don't think I've scratched the surface of where I can be as a player and I think I'm ready for that role. You can't knock them for always trying to get better. [Houston general manager] Daryl Morey is very aggressive, is a genius, a great GM and I have nothing but respect for those guys. And they are looking to make their team better. That's what they were doing. I just thought I could be that guy that could do that." Yahoo! Sports. "Throughout the whole process they pretty much told me they were going to match everything," Parsons said. "I understand it's a business. I understand they had to do what they thought was best for their organization. It definitely caught me off-guard a little bit."

LOL...Houston is fucked. Parsons > Bosh. smfh@them undervaluing their best all around player
-
hes a wigger...they need more black guys.
-
He over performed on his old deal and now he will under perform on his new one. He's a good slasher with a great three ball. We replaced him with a guy who does the same thing and plays better defense at half the cost.
And Parsons better than Bosh? You are higher than giraffe pussy.

you lost your 2 best players off the bench, lin and asik, for NOTHING....and now you're acting happy that chandler parsons is being replaced with trevor ariza, who is known for alternating good seasons with mediocre ones. it's quite funny. you're actually the only rocket fan i know who isn't disgusted with front office right now...and then you have the nerve to call out my "eternal optimism" lmao
-
parsons could have been on houston next year for less than a mil
dumb mistake by houston but they arent getting passed the Clippers regardless

it's beyond dumb....they fucked themselves bad in belief that they were getting bosh. didn't they also turn down an asik for millsap trade? worst management in the league.
-
didn't they also turn down an asik for millsap trade?
yep
-
Lin is terrible and Asik was a non factor last year. Yeah they could have kept Parsons for a million next year but they decided to swing for the fences and struck out. Dallas overpaid for a role player.
Good thing they still have Harden and Howard, who do the Lakers have? A Rockets cast off and a cripple. They don't even have a fucking coach. Eternal optimist.
-
I still can't believe you fucking said Parsons is better than Bosh. smh
-
the Lakers have the perfect roster next year...
to go 30-52 at best lol
-
They don't even have Pau anymore. They will be in the lotto again but their fans will talk about their TV contract like it means anything.
-

The apologist strikes again.....
our roster aint filled out yet, but it's not like we fucked away a beastin roster through dumb mistakes ala daryl morey
PG Jeremy Lin...Steve Nash/Jordan Clarkson
SG Lance Stephenson??...Xavier Henry??/Marshon Brooks??
SF Kobe Bryant...Nick Young
PF Julius Randle...Ryan Kelly/Wes Johnson??
C Jordan Hill...Robert Sacre
sleeper team...addition by subtraction by replacing Pau with Hill as a starter...Jeremy Lin will thrive under Kobe, with Steve Nash's guidance....Julius Randle, one of the most NBA ready picks in the deepest drafts in years....Kobe's return....Excellent fire-power off the bench....and with one more signing like a Lance Stephenson, we're good to go as a surprise team, all while Houston is expecting a championship from a roster worse than the one they fielded last season. yall settin yourselves up for failure G. Morey will be fired soon.
-
LOL @ all the question marks.
that team is gonna suck major anus and you know it. that wouldn't even be a playoff team in the EAST :D
-
the question marks means we still have flexibility in those areas...we still have the money to sign a lance stephenson, and if/when we do that, then our roster is one hell of a sleeper. Roster-wise, Lance Stephenson would actually be playing on an upgraded roster from last years Indiana team who won the east... and with the low expectations, just about anything outside of Kobe missing the entire season with another injury will be a pleasant surprise.
-
less asians less whites more african american players...houston wins.
its science.
-
They don't even have Pau anymore. They will be in the lotto again but their fans will talk about their TV contract like it means anything.
For what reason would we talk about a tv contact? What does that have to do with basketball?

he'll say whatever he can to deflect from the rockets being the biggest losers in this off-season
-
I've admitted it was a step back. But we are 20 steps ahead of the Lakers so it's not the end of the world.
-
But the difference is that you dumbasses actually expect to go somewhere .. Anything that happens to us is a bonus, considering the low expectations.

I thought the Lakers reload not rebuild. Why the sudden change of tune?
-
It's inevitable .. Lakers have only missed the playoff in 2 consecutive seasons ONCE in the franchises entire existence.
Going into last years college season, wiggins, parker and randle were considered the consensus 1-2-3.... Things are quietly lookin up
-
They are about to miss three :P
-
you're like miss cleo, only gayer
-

I have another vision, it's...it's...it's Kobe on the DNP list.

at least your dreams aren't limited to homosexual fantasies.

isn't it weird how the Mavericks fucked up having the 2 best white players in the NBA on the same team??
Nash and Dirk ended up winning 3 total MVP awards and yet Dallas let Nash go back to Phoenix.
"After the 2003–04 season, Nash became a free agent. He attempted to negotiate a long-term contract with Cuban, who was paying Walker, Finley, Nowitzki and Jamison nearly $50 million in combined salaries that season. Cuban wanted to build his franchise around the younger Nowitzki and did not want to risk signing the 30-year-old Nash to a long-term deal, and offered Nash a four-year deal worth about $9 million annually, with a fifth year partially guaranteed. The Phoenix Suns on the other hand offered the point guard a six-year, $63 million contract. Nash was reluctant to leave Dallas and returned to Cuban to see if he would match the deal; Cuban did not, and Nash signed with the Suns for the 2004–05 season. The Canadian would go on to win two League MVP awards with Phoenix, and on a 14 June 2006 appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Cuban wondered out loud, "... you know Steve's a great guy and I love him to death, but why couldn't he play like an MVP for us?"

James Harden wit the bitchassness, shittin on Parsons again: "Dwight and I are the cornerstones of this franchise. Everyone else is just a role player."
Dwight wit the bitchmade tweet of "Free Palestine", gets checked by Omri Casspi and deletes the post like the scary hoe he is
SMH@these hoecakes
-
parsons was on Jay Mohr Sprots the other day and said he is still good friends with Dwight and doesn't blame him for saying they'd be fine without him although he disagrees with it
-
Yea he's bein PA about it but u can tell the bitchassness is botherin him
-
Funny shit is, Harden had pretty much Parsons' production during his last year in OKC, when two superstars were taking his shots. Was he a "role player", then, in his eyes? Role players don't ask for a max contract. I'd love to see Parsons explode like Harden did and make Dwight and James look like little bitches. Harden is the type of ignorant nigga who thinks averaging 25 point with no defense during the regular season makes him a first tier superstar who can talk down on niggas while he has never played a good playoff series. He will never win anything. D-12 and him fit very well together, character-wise. Both are bitches who can put up huge numbers in meaningless games but will get stomped like a parade when shit hits the fan.

-
like i said, i could give a fuck less bout what happens outside of the lakers..i leave that for the petty ones.
