Lol I remember I used to hate Jeter when A-Rod was a Mariner cause dude would always get all the recognition when A-Rod was clearly the better player.

If A-Rod was still a SS he'd still be better than Derek Jeter. Jeter was never that good defensively and offensively Jeter never has and never will hold a candle to A-Rod. You know you're a shitty hitter when Madison Bumgarner has hit more grand slams this season than you have in your entire career.

A-rod is one of my favorite athletes but dude was a huge cheat and it's hard to look past that. A-rod's 2007 season was the best by any steroider i think. Given his position as an infielder i'd say for sure.

Alright, then take his 73 HR season then :laugh:. A-Rod was definitely the better athlete but as far as pure hitter Bonds was an absolute god. Both probably still would've gone down as two of the greatest even without roids. Who knows when they started but A-Rod was a phenom in Seattle before he went to Texas and bulked up, and Bonds was an absolute freak when he was skinny as well.
