Title: Lakers land Carlos Boozer
Post by: Sccit on July 17, 2014, 03:12:48 PM
Not a bad pick-up, but I like the Ed Davis signing better. The best thing about this pick-up is that we now have a good mix of young players and vets.

Just another overpaid old fucker who is just grinding out the last year of his last big contract. Fits on a team that just paid a done Kobe Bryant close to $50 million for 2 useless years and an overhyped Asian 15 million per season.

At this point he's essentially as good as pau, who just got 10 mill per season. Actually a good trade-off, salaries considered.

Pau got 7 million per season for 3 years, which is fair. The Lakers got Boozer cheap, which is good for them. But he is still getting 18-19 million this season, which is clearly a joke.

Only 3 million goes against the lakers, bulls pay the rest .. We good on that. Boozer for 3mill > pau for 10mill. With randle in the picture, well need a defensive anchor in the middle. Jordan hill will b just that.
