Pac did a charitable move to put his homies from the Bay on such a classic album. That was a nice gesture to show love to where he's from... they just get exposed on an album with so many legends like daz, kurpt, dre, snoop, LA ficcaz
The only other track I skip is "What's Your Phone Number"...
Niether song is bad.. they are just the worst song on each disc... of the greatest album of all time... its like the Georgee Carlin bit about "the worst doctor in the world"
-
From the second the touch tone intro ends and the wack production begins I end All Eyez On Me.

He means that as soon as the what'z ya phone # beat kicks in, then he just stops listening to the album altogether.
-
Are you talking about ain't hard 2 find? because that's one of my top 5 songs on that album.
-
Listened to the track just a few hours ago, I don't know why this should be one of the worst songs on the album, there are a bunch of filler songs that are worse. The track itself is dope.
-
ain't hard to find is great
the only bad song on the entire cd is whatz ya phone # and even then that song is listenable at times.
-
Whatz Ya Phone # ain't that bad of a song...it's a dope song if you can relate to it...when I'm riding in my whip on the way to fuck a bitch, I often bump Whatz Ya Phone #
-
Whats so annoying about Whatz Ya Phone # is the talking at the end of the song instead of more verses.
-
anybody who thinks "Ain't Hard 2 Find" is anything short of a 4/5 quality song is a lame that needs to retire their dubcc account
but then again this is another failed troll thread, nothing new to see here
-
"Run The Streetz" would be the second worst song on both discs
-
Aint Hard to Find is a dope track, and the other bay area guest appearances are as well. It was hardly charitable to put great rappers such as E-40, C-Bo and Richie Rich on the album, the OP sounds like a diss to the bay. You can hardly put someone like Daz above them.

Correct.

"Aint Hard 2 Find" is one of the best tracks on Disc 2 8)

yeah
i think Pac's verse is above average for Pac, I really love what E-40, Richie Rich and C-bo all do with their verses too. and then you got B Legit doing this thing, he never dropped a wack rhyme in the 90's.
D Shot was aight. All that was missing was Spice 1 and Mac Mall
-
Fuck you talking bout worst track?! You niggas is punks becus all eyes on me is the goat nigga.
-
'Rather Be Ya N.I.G.G.A' is probably my least favourite but I still listen to it when I jam the album. I've never really really liked 'Holla At Me' as much as I do other songs on All Eyez, but I think it's probably more to do with the mixing than the actual song - it's quite loud and severe when listening on CD, and doesn't entirely fit in with the vibe created by the songs that surround it.
But like others have said, it's pretty much the greatest rap album of all time and so even the weaker songs on what is a double disc are still above average.

those are both good songs too but "Ain't Hard 2 Find" is way doper than both 8)
-
Holla at me was one of Pac's top 5 lyrical songs....only thing that throws me off is the female singer on the chorus starting at the beginning. but i dig that shit now.
-
What's ya phone number is the worst . But it's not that bad at times . Like when drinking
-
To me the track had that South feel before the South even knew what it was feeling. Whats nuts is DR paid to clear that sampled and dropped this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgVva5_nFsE
Offa Snoops album for sample reasons. Crazy.

i'm hoping you aren't referring to No More Pain because of the drums on it.
No More Pain one of my fav Pac songs.

That original version of head doctor was crazy...
Still don't understand how this (along with many other great songs) could be taken off the doggfather album.
Couldve been a classic with tracks like this.
-
WideAwake should have put that OG Head Doctor on Lost Sessions...

Yup, Doggfather redone with a lot of the tracks that were left off the album of the era could have been a spectacular follow up to his debut. I mean can you imagine a retail where Head Doctor ends and then Midnight Love kicks in? Those two back to back would have been :o
Somewhere in a parallel universe there's a Snoop that believed in himself whilst on DR and dropped two classics in a row instead of spending his time worrying about what Dre would do.
<goes in the booth and records the same verse a 1000 times then auditions 850 different snares for the intro track>

LMAO you stupid.
I feel AEOM has got to be one of the most overrated albums in Hip Hip history. It could be cut down to one album and be great but two disk of filler is just to much. Controversy sold that album and the johhny come lately fans that jumped on the bandwagon when that album came out piss me off. It sounds just like what it is, a rushed compilation album with no real direction.
-
disc 2 was clearly not as "classic" as disc 1 but each would hold their own as it's own release
-
The whole album cut down to one disc with 14,15 or maybe 16 songs and it would be a flawless album.

all true but no doubt it was the best of the double albums released during the 90's

yeah
funny thing is Pac left off Still I Rise, which would have been the deepest verse of his on that CD if he put it on there.

-
4 songs on the album have Bay Area features

That's not saying much. Most songs are tolerable when drunk.
-
If you don't like "Ain't Hard 2 Find" then shit man I don't know what to tell you. And I'm not even a Bay fan.
-
Infinite only hates on the bay because his hometown KC shows it so much love.. If they liked Muslims in KC, infinite would currently be a Jew

I shouldn't have to explain this again, but since most of you are illiterate allow me to reiterate that I never said I didn't like the song. Being literate is more than just being able to read words, it means actually being able to detect concepts being alluded to, and identifying literary devices. Here's my original post again...
Neither song is bad.. they are just the worst song on each disc... of the greatest album of all time... its like the Georgee Carlin bit about "the worst doctor in the world"

that's actually false
I can't tolerate any Soulja Boy, Riff Raff, Lil B, etc. even if I'm drunk, dabbed, and yayed out

*Not this b!tch a$$ b!tch again* :spam2: :psych: Yes dummy overrated. A bunch of songs thrown together in a matter of days. Filler. Unauthentic Tupac. A Tupac put in a position where he had to fit into a certain business model that didn't represent his past musical integrity. Great production but production that didn't suit him. No real direction of the album. Too many guest appearances. Guest appearances that were sub par and sounded amateurish. A good album but not a great album. A album over hyped by controversy and marketing. Etc.....
Now swallow the shot. :bomb:
