The popular country music group The Dixie Chicks have just finished recording a track with DJ Quik according to MTV News. "I've always wanted to get together with Quik" says fiddler Martie Seidel. "He's one of the freshest people alive and his grooves go well with the dixie chick's smooth and mellow brand of country music." The track titled From the CPT to the Trailer Park is scheduled to be released on The Dixie Chicks next album due out in late 2003. "I've got some heat for these backwater ho's" Quik told a MTV news crew. According to Dixie Chicks manager Travis Johnson, The Dixie Chicks were so impressed with Quik's unique country funk, they plan on recording more tracks together. The Dixie chicks latest album Home debuted at number 6 on the Billboard Music charts and has sold over 86840 units to date.
