Warren G Makes History! - 1 April, 2003 By : Rud

Warren G will make history this month, as he becomes the first African American to have his own line of electronics. JVC are the company that will release the "Warren G Signature Series," 12" and 10" speakers & 2 and 4 channel amps. According to The Source, Warren G said : "I sat with the engineers and designed my whole speaker from scratch, my amps is platinum and black because I'm a die hard raider fan and I'm already in 600 Best Buy stores and they expecting to move 10-15 thousand a week for $250 and that's not including other chains like Circuit City."
Warren's uncle and manager, Ron G, added : "This is a partnership with JVC, not a [deal] where you just put his name on it and throw him a few pennies...They're also doing a big multi-million dollar promotion with Warren so when his album drops, every hip-hop station in America will be giving away cameras and wide screens, it's the biggest promotion that has ever been done."
That is HUGE news for fans who are anticipating Warren G's fifth album, "The G Files : Case # 213," as he has always suffered from lack of promotion and therefore poor sales for all of his albums after "Regulate...G Funk Era." The new album will hit stores early this summer and features tracks with, amongst others, Snoop Dogg, Bad Azz, Kurupt and Raphael Saadiq.

finally warrens gonna blow up again. evrey1 still knows who he is he just needs to get in their ears and he is almost garenteed to sell.

So what we gonna get is some wack ass Return Of The Regulator Pt.2.. I really hated that fukin album. So if it is like that were gonna get a wack album recieving huge promotion and probably this is when Warren will be known as a sell out and everybody will be obsessed with the G-Funk/Look Over Your Shoulder Dayz.
On the real Warren can be a dope producer, I've contacted him personally through the net and told him about what I thought of the album and was real about it I showed respect so I aint hatin and he's actually a cool guy he didnt come frontin or hatin, wantin to smash on me he was just cool about it and respected the comments and hoped I'd listen to what he got to do or put out.
I even sent him a fax, cause I got the fax number to the assistant manager he got who is a fine fine ass female and gave my personal opinion on him and dj quik doing an album together. There both past their extreme commercial status (Warren - Regulate, Quik - Safe & Sound) and they come tight together so I outlined that so hopefully if you hear about them doing a collab album together remember that I was the one who put the idea in his head, I just wish I had dj quiks contact info so I could do the same with him and bring the 2 together to drop a classic

Yeah this is good news as i was disapointed for warren on the lack of promotion and marketing his albums have had.Same goes for quik and others,especially in the west.At least there bringin news ideas to the table now and a JVC product is definatley not hard to find.

I didnt really like ROTR but I hope with this next release he will bring back some classic G Funk shit. The promotion idea sounds like a good one tho.

good news cause imusic wont spend any money for promotion. ROTR was a dope album...warren g is still one of the best westcoast related producers.

Actually ya'll.............................. Master P has been done had his own Speakers out............. Bazooka or something like that.....makes Master P speakers..........
they been on the market for about 3 or 4 months now..............of course they are not big out west...but they are popular down south......my cousin, down in LA has some in his car so yeah...i give props to Warren G, but masterp p, done been making money off of that....
No Limit.....have to admit...his music isnt all that good but he is one hell of a businessman......
