i think dre's always motivated, he's just waiting for a game changer and always trying to create something phenomenal so most of the material he's recording he's not releasing it cause this game changer is not happening, but I think he's constantly trying. In the Ice T documentary on Hip Hop he says that in 20 years that not two weeks have passed without him being in a studio. Jerry Heller in his book also says that Dre has an incredible work rate and that's he could be sitting six hours straight waiting to find the right sound. so i'm guessing he's always recording but never likes what he's doing and at some point he still half heartedly drops something like I Need a Doctor or the Recipe.

Bishop is really getting that Hulk image. And he's in studio with Dre. If Dre would sign him again, and get him to release an album, you could kill me if Game wouldn't be acting same as Bishop. Dude would took his image and put it on himself.
