Post by: DonCorleone187 on April 03, 2003, 08:53:48 PM: good job snoop, just showin all you need to do is make a name for yourself and you're set for life. i didn't like this album that much top to bottom, snoop can do better like drop this pimp shit and keep it real, hopefully daz will be all over his new album. i hate to say it but beautiful was the highlight of this album and that was just a sell out track to get himself into the mainstream and up on mtv and spinnin on the radio. now don't get me wrong snoop has always been one of my favorite artists i just was real disappointed with this album yes it was a lot different then his previous albums but i wasn't feelin it and it never really grew on me i'm hoping for a better album from him in the future

The album wasn't really Snoop Dogg's best work but it surely showed everyone how versatile he is on the mic. He flowed many different ways on the album and rapped about many different subjects. Not alot of emcees could do an album like that and push platinum status. Peace!

Many people hate on Snoop just because the last album was kinda different than his others, but it only shows that he's real versatile. Personally I didn't like the album, but I got mad respect for him. Eight(Eastsidaz Included) consecutive platinum albums, beat that Nelly and Ja RUle!!

At least he kept the album full of Battlecat Jelly Roll and Fred Wreck.

Well i do......and I'm from the Netherlands.....quite a distance from CA.Stop thinkin' in stereotypes....though I must say I doubt any of my fellow hiphop-lovers out here feel these tracks that much.

Post by: Z the laidback Virus on April 06, 2003, 11:58:23 AM: me 2,I think Snoops just more relaxed on this album,it's softer while TLM was a darker album.I mean there isn't hard shit like Lay Low,Set it off or Bring it on on Paid tha cost..,only Pimp Slapp'd coming close.Its more a sit back and listen album,background music,while TLM gets me into more active listening.Pimp Slapp'd only brings a sort of hard finale to Paid tha cost...but i can't say these two albums are that comparable,TLM is my favorite though.

As much as I have been bumping this album, trying to like it.. I find myself turning off after a short time..

I hope this doesn't encourage Snoop to work more with Neptunes and make even more pop-inspired albums.
