This is a gem

It's like Hitmen joined forces with Trackmasters and J.Dupri (guys that made good pop RnB in mid 90's). But no . It's Quik

Dude is a genius...shame so many tracks are in the vaults..

DJ Quik Vaults are better than some producers entire catalog .  :firedevil:

Mp3 link anyone? Dope track

OG..I asked to the guy who posted the video...answer soon!!

sorry i just don't hear it, don't get me wrong it's a cool song but the beat isn't all that, especially knowing the fire quik was producing at the time. and jewell as a lead singer has always bored me to death. just cause it's from the golden era doesn't mean it's an instant classic. i get why it was never released.

I don't called this a classic..because i heard it for the first time  10 min ago..(and probably this is a unfinished track)

I Compared this with some pop-rnb/hip hop songs released at the time..

it's at the level of many of those songs

Quik deserved more space in the R&B charts in the 90's man . . .

Jewell, Danny Boy, Adina Howard, Deborah Cox

Maybe passed this beat to Aaliyah, this would have been a hit..

i beg to differ, jewell was good as a background singer, but when she was given a slot for solo songs, it wasn't exactly excellent. her solo songs on MWTC are the weakest links of the album IMO, but I do like Gonna Give It To Ya with Aaron Hall though. but I don't see her able to hold her own on  an album.

I wish DB's album had come out when it was supposed to.

I recall this dropped a couple of years ago along with some more tracks produced by Quik, and with the extended version of one of Danny Boy's tracks from his album.  The track that Jewell did with Johnny J was heat too.

Props for the discovery and the MP3 of this song…

Yeah, the song is not brilliant, but it is a NICE beat from Quik, well reflective of one of the dopest eras of his career. Another singer could have done really good things with this beat, I agree.

As far as 90s R&B Quik joints, nothing touches Good Thang and Come When I Call, but this is pretty dope too  8)

yup, sure did.  theo, i'm surprised you didn't hear these leaks when they dropped.  there were a couple joints from quik.....the other one isn't as good as "after all this" but it's still dope.  i'll have to post it later.
