Do the Lakers even have a first round pick in 2015?

EDIT: They traded their 2015 first round pick to the Suns, but it is top 5 protected. They also have the Rockets first round pick (top 14 protected).

if "beasting" is the newest NBA term for piling up "garbage yards" then sure

Kobe scoring 25 PPG at a 35% shooting rate and a 1-7 record is the equivalent of Vinny Testaverte throwing 500 yards in a game but his team losing

lol he was 10-28 today...if he makes 2 more shots, thats 12-28, a 44% clip, right around his career average. lets be real, kobe's playin with d-league level talent, allowing the defenses to zone in on him and only him. and like i mentioned on da-sauce, lota fuckass plays where jeremy lin dribbles around in circles then hands the ball to kobe 30 feet out with 2 seconds left on the shot clock.....percentage busters.

lakers were down 17 the other night when kobe entered the game vs memphis....he came in and single handedly helped the lakers rally back to within 2. the shit he's doing out there is incredible.

to put it in perspective, the highest scorer ever 19 seasons in was kareem abdul-jabbar with 14 ppg. kobe is currently at double that...incredible.

ya boy Kareem was also 3-4 years older at that same pace

compare Kobe to other players at that age

thats not what i was doing....im comparing players 19 seasons in, and nobody has ever come close to playing at kobe's level after 19 seasons.

also, james harden, in his prime, while playing on a team thats supposed to be contending, is shooting the same exact fg% as kobe, yet is considered by many the "best shooting guard in the league"...whys that?

Kobe is unreal and it's extremely unfortunate that his potentially second last season looks so unpromising. He's a laker for life and I respect that he doesn't choose to just jump to a winner. But chooses to try to build the future in LA. I am a Pisons fan but Kobe had always been a favorite of mine. Just seems like such a waste of talent right now, even though he is 'building'. Steve Nash is another fav, so I really do feel for the Lakers. Victims of unfortunate circumstances stemming from injuries from aging vets and like you said Nik a D list squad.
