Title: What's the connection between Naughty by Nature and DPG
Post by: Saber on December 12, 2014, 01:54:26 PM
I was just watching Naughty by Nature's video for Craziest (the remix) and you see a guy wearing a Dogg Pound shirt and you also Nate Dogg is in that video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up4VpKBG97Y

So I was wondering if there was a connection/relation between the two crews.

My two favorite rap groups of all time.

Craig Mack and Big Boi from Outkast are also in it. ... They were all on top of the industry at that time, that's really the connection.  They were just showing respect to each other.

Also, the Illtown to Inglewood connection -- Double I.

no connection, they just made a video about a song shouting out a lot of places so they invited a lot of artists from all over, you can see Snoop, Nate, Big Boi, Yo Yo, LV, Havoc & Prode'je and others I might have missed in the video.

treach was part of the "nationwide murdersquad" with SCC, Spice 1, 3-2 etc.

Their names are associated with the classics just from being on The Chronic.

Dogg Food, Doggystyle and Necessary Roughness are heavyweight albums, so I guess so.

Doggfood - aint no one in the their right mind who dont consider this a classic - they where on pacs, snoops, dre and countless of others classic albums... - Kurupt is idol to alot of the newer cats, look at kendrick. DPGC - all of them legends man.

Treach, Snoop and Kurupt are sat around the table with Hype Williams in the intro of Jodeci's Feenin' video.

PS T-Mo from Goodie Mob is in the "Craziest (Remix)" video.
