With the success of tracks such as the 2001 club banger "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" and the newest joint from Eve's album Eve-Olution its no wonder Dr. Dre has signed Ruff Ryders first lady Eve to his Aftermath Label speaking to a los angeles radio station and MTV News on Wednesday the good doctor informed the world of his latest signing " Eve is an incredible talent and working with her is incredible, period, thats why she came to me when her contract was up with (ruff ryders) and I just said lets do this then", Eve also dropped a suttle hint last week to MTV news (See "Eve says Dre will be all over her next album".) And as dre confirmed the rumours he did say that her album will not see the light of Day until three things are cleared up over at Aftermath..
The three things that Dr. Dre was talking About is 3 off the most eagirly anticipated Hip-Hop albums off all time, Those off course Ice Cube's Still untitled album, Rakim's Oh My God and The good doctors Detox, Dre spoke about these three albums and said " My album is well under way id say ive got four or five keepers, and Cube has been writing for a while now so it's all good" and when asked about Hip-Hop legend Rakim " Rakim's album is ready and should be released late May to early June i think June 2nd is the set date that Jimmy (Iovine) has been talking about, but that is one of the dopest hip-hop albums ever y'all cats are gonna be blown away". Dre also tells us that 50 Cent,D12 and new aftermath signings Joe Beast and Brooklyn will all have new albums out by the new year.
