also praises Dogg Food (which is not expected from a NY radio personality in 2015). I've always liked Charlamagne for his free spirit and his sincerity.

it depends, when E-40 was invited, you could clearly tell he didn't know nor care about bay area rap. like he did not know 40 was from Vallejo and kept mentioning him as an Oakland rapper and 40 mentioned something about "the element of surprise" being a fixture in the bay in regards to 2 Chainz getting jacked in Frisco and nobody caught the reference to 40's album. you could tell that 40 was a bit pissed lol.

alright, that's one exception lol but to be honest not many NY-ers/East Coasters are up on the Bay scene like they are with LA cats and it's been like that forever
I blow peoples' minds when I play new and old Bay slaps that they've never heard of

yeah you right the only cats to be up on bay shit are usually old heads from the midwest or the south, or euros (most of them french, we have a strong bay loving community here ever since the mid 90's lol) lol. that's why the bay doesn't really get love on the dubb.

u aint a hip-hop head if u dont fux wit the bay

true but at least he gave it props and it didn't sound fake or just to pretend (which is what a lot of people do when it comes to talking about music or art in general), to me it looks like he used to fuck with the album heavy but hasn't listened to it in a while (we're probably the only motherfuckers on earth to do so in 2015). most people who say they loved death row rarely mention the dogg pound let alone the name of the album. it's commendable that Charlamagne actually specifically referenced the album and songs off the album (he was talking about the songs Do What I Feel / If We All Fucc / Bomb Azz Pussy I think).

exactly... some of us (unlike Infinite) just know far too much hip-hop that sometimes it's hard to just spit out a song name or two especially if you haven't heard an album in years

That new track from Vell "Bitch ______" goez. The way dude was snitchin in the video at the beginning made me feel some type of way. I was hurtin my damn self. A little bit of me actually died on the inside when I saw that.
