so i catch myself feelin trapped
take a good look around
there's nothin really stoppin me from runnin outa town
but i been on the run for ten years now
fuckin up everywhere i go
its about time i just accepted the hard facts
now i know
cant ignore whats goin on
gotta take it one day at a time
keep myself from actin crazy
but really who's crazy
truth is im feelin fine
scare tactics, corruption, cash rules and medication
a lethal combination to a fool
so i treat it like vacation
dont know how long i'll be here
but im sure i wanna leave
get back to workin on myself
doin as i please
others have responsibilities that keep em trapped in place
im still free
can come and go as i please
just biding my time till i escape
