Title: Royals start season with a bang, 6 run 1rst inning on way to 13-2 win

Royals are loose and confident like never before.  They are still walking on air from their great run last season.  They just pounded Texas, picking up where they left off with their stellar play in October last year.  Royals got 6 run off of a legit starting pitcher in the first inning, with back to back homers, one of which was by a new free agent addition to the team, Alex Rios, the next by another big free agent addition, Kendris Morales, and then one by Eric Hosmer.

This is a great omen for the rest of the season.  Stay tuned...

I wouldn't consider Morales a "big free agent addition". He was solid for us a few years ago, then we traded for him at the deadline last year and he was absolute shit. Some of that still could have had to do with him not getting an entire season but he looked awful.
