Real M - MU 3-1
Two goals from Raúl González and a Luis Figo special put the holders Real Madrid CF in good heart for the second leg of this UEFA Champions League quarter-final, but one from Ruud van Nistelrooij means that Manchester United FC can still entertain realistic hopes of reaching next month's final on their home ground

dope game. united played so shitty in the first half but played well in the second. missed too many chances though. figo's goal was just speechless i actually think he was trying to pass but it went in anyways. raul is always raul. carlos played very well. beckham and giggs sucked. ruud is now a legend. man united have NO chance against real.

^... true....... it only takes real to think after last night it will be an easy result and become complacent, and for man u to get some magical inspiration... they are the masters of the comeback... but even super-sub couldnt save them last night

thats a good attitude and maybe i went too far when i said united have no chance. yes they do have a chance but it will be tuff. united missed way too many chances in the 2nd half it was ridiculous. but at the end of the day fans want to see a good game and it was a good game. i don't care who wins really, i just want to see some good football.
