Title: For Those Who Use A Cable Or DSL Connection
Post by: Big BpG on October 07, 2001, 04:30:35 PM
I have a few questions...

1. Cable or DSL
2. What Service  (ie... AT&T @home)
3. Do they limit upload speed?
4. Whats download speed like for you??

My new computer is getting a new cable service, because I hate @home.... so if you all could answer those cool..

1.cable
2.optium online
3.no
4.around 150-200kb/s on average and sumtimes as high as 500kb/sec but that depends on ALOT of different factors though.

i got  AOL DSL .   the problem wit DSL is that it  lags like a bitch and that gets real annoyin  .  the good thing is that its always workin .
we got cable in the next room  @home  to be exact  and the problem with it  is  that it will  go down  sometimes during high peak hours .  but  it doesnt lag when its  workin and its faster than DSL  by a little .
i guess i would go with  cable  tho .
