Wassup y'all just listened to that Chronic 2000 album again for old times sake, and I just remembered that they were promoting it back then with it containing "4 unreleased" dre tracks I think...
Can anybody here help me out which songs they were talkin bout ?
I know Mr. Officer was an unreleased Dre Track from the chronic days and here theres also a song with that title, read numerous times that it's actually the original beat by dre with a couple other artists on it instead of snoop & dre.... Don't know if thats true though
The other one should be OG to BG I think I read that this was also a song by dre with the pound & soopafly in its original version...
And then there should be two more that I cant think of right now
maybe someone here knows

"Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat" (Remix)

(original production : Dr Dre)
"Ho Hoppin"
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg, Doobie)
(produced by [remix] : Damon Thomas)
(original production : Dr Dre)
"OG To BG"
(Dr Dre featuring Tha Realest, Kurupt, Daz)
(additional vocals : Snoop Doggy Dogg, LaToya Williams)
(produced by : Dr Dre)
(original production : Dr Dre)
"Die MF Die"
(Dr Dre featuring Top Dogg)

Only "OG To BG" was not deleted from the OG tracklist but it was re-recorded with Soopafly doin the Dr Dre verse.

Thans man^^
The OG Version of Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat was intended for the Chronic but they took the version we all now for it, so this here wouldve been that og with vk added if im not mistakin.
The Ho Hopper is of course that snoop & dre track that leaked, here it wouldve been with top dogg & doobie
Die MF Die was also from the chronic sessions I believe, again top dogg wouldve ruined this shit.
And OG To BG is a good song but would like to hear the og version. It's with dre & the pound most likely.
And theres the MR Officer Track, which I really enjoy especially the beat and the hook, could be the original beat. A version with snoop & dre on it would be :o :o :o
Glad they didn't release the tracks that way, smh at top dogg, doobie etc replacing snoop & dre for example ::)
PS:
Where you always get the infos on all the tracks from ?
-
Mr. Officer is actually the original version of The Day The N*ggaz Took Over with Tha Convictz on the chorus. Same beat as retail, with only a few bells and whistles missing.

There was also that "Give It Up For Compton" song on Too Gangsta For Radio (song by dresta btw), that was also rumoured to be a dre beat..

This version of "OG to BG" with Tha Realaest never leaked, right?

OG to BG was that crack! And yeah, Mr. Officer was a Dre track. Suge gave a lot of Dre tracks out to whoever. California Love and and U Can't See Me were (I think) Ice Cube/Dre tracks slated for the Helter Skelter project.

of all the rumored albums coming out at that time would have liked "Helter Skelter" to come out the most

Cant C Me was also originally intended for Dogg Food, theres also the Version with Daz & Kurupt that leaked.
Maybe it was originally for Dre & Cubes album, then they gave it to daz & kurupt but when pac was released all the Tracks were taken for his album, which was Common at death row

"Can't C Me" was first given to Tha Dogg Pound for Dogg Food titled as "U Can't Cee Me" intended to be the 8th track of the album before it was deleted from the tracklist.
This instrumental was produced by Dr Dre around Helter Skelter era even if nobody can say if this song could be used on this Dre/Ice Cube project which never be finished even if a lot of instrumentals were done by Dre while The DOC wrote lyrics for this concept album.

Since you even now the number the song was supposed to be placed on is there any chance you might even have the original tracklist ?
Always see you posting tons of info on the whole dr era where you got that shit from ? ;D

So Cant C Me is the only track that ended up on an actual tracklist ?
I thin in the early forms of the tracklists, songs like "started" were also on the list, since they were damn dope 8)
