Before Dre left NWA, Ren was claimin Dre was working on his solo album. I kind of doubt this because Dre never really gave much props to Ren, and even after peace was made with Dre and Eazy in 95', it's been all these years and we have never seen Dre really do shit for Ren, outside of producing "Hel-low" and "Chin Check" which were NWA tracks.
Anybody have a list of Ren solo tracks produced by Dre?
-
nope.
-
Ren was on 2001, and the diss towards him on Xplosive was removed so I'm sure they're cool.
But yeah I'd imagine if there was some Ren solos produced by Dre at Ruthless they would have been leaked or released by now.
You ought to get at Ren on Twitter and ask him. Maybe he can enlighten us cuz it would certainly be dope.

Wut diss on X?

In the blaze magazine it said dre dissed ren on la niggaz, but after all I think it was on what's the difference that dre dissed on ren move units then talk shit and we can do this...

as far as 2001, I always heard it like this...
...Ren was in a magazine (I remember reading it back in the day, just can't remember if it was The Source, or Blaze, or what) saying something like, "we want to get NWA back together but where is Dre, we can't find Dre". Which really to me wasn't a diss at all. It was just saying that Dre is hard to get in touch with.
Then, it was probably Eminem who wrote Dre's lyrics in "What's the Difference". And Em probably just wanted some badass shit to say, and Em is the type that used to read all the magazines, so he came up with some fly shit to say like, "move units, then talk shit and we can do this". Which was the Ren diss. Then later Ren did the bit for "L.A. Niggaz" not knowing he was dissed on anther track for the album ("What's the Difference"), but I think that wasn't a big deal anyway, and it was important for him to be on that album so had he known about that minor jab I don't think it would've mattered.

much more than a minor jab son
Then I got these fake-ass niggas I first drew with
Claimin' that they non-violent, talkin' like they Ruthless
Spit venom in interviews, speaking on reunions
Move units, then talk shit and we can do this
Until then - I ain't even speaking your name
Just keep my name outta yo' mouth and we can keep it the same, nigga
obviously calculated and much more than just eminem writin some slick shit for him...as a matter of fact, dre's verse on "what's the difference" was written by some dude named Punch aka Yykkes (of L.A. Confidential), not eminem

Cool story props

First of all, ain't no "son" here.. I'm your elder, and I must of missed the memo round 2013 when you paid dues and became a superstar rapper and my superior or some shit...
...As for what your saying, it's "first blew with" I think, but anyway, that name -Punch- is an interesting one, cause i remember some MTV news bit around the time of "Zoom" that mentioned Snoop back in the studio with Dre working on his album and some fruit juice names bein associated with Dre like Punch and Crush or some shit, lol

Just my 5 cents because we don't have penny's in Toronto. I'm pretty sure the hip hop term is "sun" not "son" kid lol....
Sun/Son: A term of respect between males, as in "one who shines like the sun" or one who is worthy of respect. However this term is usually misunderstood (or intentionally used) as "son" (e.g. male child of a parent), in this context it could be a term of making oneself superior to a rival male.
--------------------
Yeah for some reason Dr.Dre never did shit with M.C. Ren.
-
Dre wasn't talking bout ren he was talking bout Lonzo from wcwc who had been in the source or vibe and done a interview
