With the 2015 BET Awards around the corner (June 28th, to be exact), Ice Cube recently announced that he will round up the old gang for a return performance at its 2015 BET Experience events.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Cube revealed that he, MC Ren and DJ Yella have been confirmed to perform at the Staples Center on June 27th, with a variety of special guests.
"We're gonna be there with Snoop, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q. It's just gonna be one of those 'I wish I were there in L.A. nights.' And we're gonna rock that sh*t, no problem."
While there's no word on if Dr. Dre will join them, but one can assume that with the many musicians he's worked with performing alongside - as well as the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton arriving in August - one can assume that Dre appearing with his longtime compatriots is a given, despite what Ice Cube hinted at in the interview.
Will Dre be at the Staples Center, too?
"You know, if you wish upon a star, you never know [laughs]. You never know. It's like, I hope he blesses us with his presence. But if not, I've been rockin' for a long time without anybody. So whoever shows up, I'm still gonna rock. Whoever don't show up, we still gonna rock."

I heard nipsey hussle on big boys neighborhood, while driving home from work, and he was saying how he turned down playing snoop in the NWA movie, but that he did work with Dr Dre on the soundtrack and that he heard it and thought everything about the movie is epic along with the soundtrack
