damn... I think Royce is really officially done now... one of the most disappointing rap careers of all time. I break it down like this...
99-2001 - Dude was the next big thing in rap. His unreleased material from that time period is some of the best unreleased material hip-hop has ever seen (outside of 2pac). Behind Em he was possibly the most authentically anticipated ficca in rap.
2002 -2006 - Dude had the ear of the two biggest names in hip-hop and somehow managed to spoil his relationships with both of them—Em and Dre. Shit... the dudes in D-12 all ended up having better careers than Royce as far as I'm concerned, they were a part of more great music and probably ended up with more paper at the end of the day.
2007-2014 - Dude's career got a second life thanks to Em's forgiveness. He got to be on a gold record with the long awaited and anticipated Bad Meetz Evil EP. Once again though he managed to drop the ball with the Slaughterhouse album and the album bricked. Still he was lucky enough through his associations to get to play a role in bringing battle rap to a wider audience and higher plateau.
2015 - Now i think dude is just washed up

Phryme was his best album and better than all the trash Eminem dropped since 2009

maybe I was in the wrong kind of mood when I heard it....
...but speaking of Em, this PRhyme album isn't even in the same league as the Bad Meetz Evil Ep

I felt the same way and still do at times about Royce but Prhyme was dope, granted it was carried by the production the lyrics were still pretty on point

You're too funny. The album is far from weak. Why don't you just stick to listening to the same 5 or so artists that you only ever seem to give praise to.

Album is dope, one of the very few hip hop albums I checked for in the last few years and wasn't let down.
