Recently, DubCNN was invited to cover the “Beach Streets Music Fest” – a FREE event, to help strengthen community relations in the city of Long Beach.

Organized by Long Beach Councilman Rex Richardson, this event featured the likes of West Coast Legends YO-YO, THE PHARCYDE, IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, CHINO XL as well as established West Coast hitters including BLU & EXILE, and LOS RAKAS.

In addition to live performance footage, DubCNN.com sat down for an exclusive interview with West Coast legend YO-YO, in which she talks about her soon to be induction into the Hip-Hop HALL OF FAME, introduces us to her new artist INKWELL, as well as get insight about YO-YO’s school of Hip-Hop.

We also catch up with LOS RAKAS and get a quick interview in which they give us their top 5 MC’s. BLU & EXILE check in with DubCNN, and we go backstage to get interviews from IMANI & BROWN of the Legendary group, THE PHARCYDE.
