Title: Snoop Dogg Stopped By Customs In Italy
Post by: CORREA on August 02, 2015, 01:23:20 PM
Snoop Dogg was stopped by customs in Italy today (August 1) for carrying more cash across the border than the legal limit, according to TIME.

The rapper allegedly had $422,000 in cash on him while catching a flight at the Lamezia Terme airport in Calabria, Italy. The legal limit for carrying cash undeclared across borders in the European Union is €10,000, which equates to about $11,000. Law enforcement says it took half of the cash under anti-money laundering code. The money will be returned, pending any fines. Snoop has a show scheduled in England tomorrow (August 2).

A week ago, Snoop Dogg was reportedly arrested in Sweden for suspicion of drug use.

Here's Flex's take on it.....
Big Snoop Dogg just can’t seem to catch a break. Last weekend the prolific, perennial microphone controller was harassed by Swedish authorities, and this morning, he was stopped yet again.

Snoop Dogg Stopped By Italian Authorities

According to Italian financial police, said they stopped the rapper at the Lamezia Terme airport in Calabria on Saturday with $422,000 in cash, well above the limit that can legally be transported across EU borders undeclared.

Financial police verified a report by the Italian news agency ANSA that half of the cash was impounded under Italian anti-money laundering codes. In such cases, the balance is returned minus any fine set by authorities.
