Great Interview from Mopreme. Pac was a Georgia resident before he went to prison. Shit, Im out here in ATL NOW....I can see why he left Rikers and went straight to CA. These laws out here in GA keep people jammed up black n white. If u recall, its youtube footage of him playing football on Thanksgiving Day in GA in 94....I can't blame him for leaving GA for CA, cuz I been here for 2 years and the laws out here in GA is ridiculous :( Great interview!!!!! I would rather deal wit the shit back home then deal wit this GA fuck shit, I ain't lying!!!!!

Very dope interview. Mopreme is a cool dude. He loved Pac and he really brings a great period to life in this interview.

But he won't talk on it. I particularly liked his averted and generalized answer with the "cops" in relation to who killed 2Pac though. It is the closest anyone has given to the most likely answer. Mutulu & Sekyiwa both feel it was a 'political' hit via COINTELPRO. FBI watching his every move upon release from prison, raids and 'plants' at Can Am afterwards to bug the studio to hear his thoughts / words before the public got the chance to.
This is why the All eye'Z' title track has 2Pac saying "Feds is watchin' I know y'all watchin', I know y'all got me in the scopes, Y'all got me under surveillance huh" with the disc having the infamous 'Eye-of-Horus' symbolism on it. Early on it was known. I just wish Mopreme would stop being a b*tch and provide a more specific and in-depth answer, to give what is simply a "theory" more credence

Could you share what you know of the story? I know it was partially revealed in a Reggie Wright interview, but I could not understand a word that nigga said.
I also heard the Joe Cool interview where he said that Pac beat up Mopreme. But my question is: WHY did Pac (and others) beat him up? What did Mopreme do that Suge "exposed" to Pac? If the answers to these questions are out, I sure don't know them.

It came from a very reliable source -- Heron's nephew, who is also Mob Piru and is the source of basically all of the previously unseen Death Row pics of the Pirus that have surfaced this year. Paraphrasing what he said about it, Pac and Mopreme were in the studio. Mopreme was drunk and telling Pac that he needs to get paid for his work he had done with Pac, who was telling him to be patient and that he had already told Suge. But then Mopreme starts to talk about his career and says he was the one who blew up first (remember he dropped a verse on Toni Tony Tone's "Feels Good"), which kind of pisses off Pac, especially since Pac's career was a thousand times more significant. In happens to walk Suge and his crew, who listens to Mopreme's drunken complaints. Suge tells Pac to calm Mopreme down, but since Pac was already pissed anyway, he said he wasn't gonna do anything. Mopreme keeps mouthing off anyway, then gets his ass beat down, stripped and kicked out of Can Am.

I hated this entire interview series. I'm not mad at Vlad for easing his way into the West Coast/Death row interview lane. Recently he's interviewed, Daz, Kurupt, Bad Azz, Mopreme, Crooked-I,Tray Deee and Edi. But the way Mo answered the questions hasn't been good and anyone familiar with this stuff knows most of what Vlad asked. I agree with VDheart though. We way past this beatin' around the bush bs. Who the f__k shot Pac and why and if you can't tell us that then what good are you to anything? All I want to hear from Afeni is why the hell did you pull the plug on yo son when the doctors said that Pac would recover from his wiz-zounds?

Thanks for sharing that story - sounds credible to me, and I never heard it before. Pac's success in 1995/1996 made a lot of his homeboys feel that they needed a big slice of the pie right away. That was the undoing of both Syke and Mopreme.
Seems to me that some elements of the story are missing, though. Probably they didn't serve Mopreme an enormous beating just for talking. I bet he pulled out a gun or threatened somebody, then proceeded to get the big beat down.

No, it makes sense. It's Suge and Death Row. They were smacking the shit out of everybody at that time, even their own artists if they got out of line. Mopreme could get it. The liquor gave him that liquid courage and he tried to talk down to the wrong guy.
