Title: A-Wax Talks Gang Life, New Album & More
Post by: Sccit on October 19, 2015, 09:33:39 AM
A-Wax sat down on the Whitey Bulger Show talking all things “Everlasting Money” and more. The Pittsburg, California, native spends an  hour talking about his career and playing new music from his project with Whitey Bulger.

A-Wax tells Whitey how he put together his newest release both production and recording wise. They break down 4 of the tracks off the new project and the thought process behind the writing of them. In Addition,  A-Wax talks about his life growing up between Pittsburg, Seattle and Los Angeles as well as his life as a member of the Elm Street Piru’s.

A-Wax also talks about pay for play with radio stations in the industry and how he tries and markets his music in the new world of digital distribution.

Good stuff, thanks for posting. I've only stumbled upon a couple of interviews with him, but they are always over-the-phone recordings and quality is terrible. Wtf is up with that, does he not do studio/radio interviews for some reason?

DJ Vlad's interviews are terrible though. Every time an artist starts speaking about something less known and Vlad deviates from the topic with some random question
