dope, the music (rhythmic guitar and chord progression) kinda sounds like ConFunkShun's Love Train, one of my favorite slow jams (straight outta the Crest Side)  8)

Mayer Hawthorne's voice still isn't all that but the song is dope still.

LP is dope 8)

production is brilliant, it's got the whole blue eyed soul feel blended with modern r&b elements - hard hitting hip hop drums.

to get an idea of the genre mashing - 'My Beloved' is a spooky crunk, funk, soul, rock fusion. check it out you'll see what i mean 8)

i think anyone who appreciates 'Where Does This Door Go' will like this, no coincidence that Splash was on there too. hopefully Hawthorne got some more tracks off dude for his next LP.
