it will be, as it was for Too Short's and Quik's.
Not expecting much good coming from it knowing that they did a poor job covering Short's career (barely mentioned his dangerous crew days, him doing music with Pac & Big, etc.) and the Quik episode which was in my opinion sloppy. Unsung used to be good, when they used to make hour long shows on Con Funk Shun, Zapp or Sly Stone. Nowadays they rush their pieces that are often shallow, not particularly informed and incomplete.
That being said, it's good they're doing one on Nate. Will still check it out.

Episode out :
http://tvone.tv/25721/unsung-full-episode-nate-dogg/
Some interesting info, unseen footages etc.
They got themselves confused when they said Nate started his choir after his stroke, it was before. Otherwise it was pretty accurate.
-
This was extremely well done. I'm not sure how someone drinks Hennessy by the bottle in a hospital and there is no culpability in today age of lawsuits. What happened to Nate Dogg's new album with Dre, Warren G, Eminem and Jay-Z, there was no mentions.

Looks like too many people want a piece of the cake so they not releasing the album besides some
Songs here and there

nice watch thanks.
real sad he kept fucking around the first stroke, that's a warning sign if ever there was one. but i imagine that lifestyle gets deeply conditioned as with any addiction.
-
"9 children with 7 women" wow dude has planted his seeds 4 real now i understand better why there is this battle to get back the publishing rights (or royalties whatever)
Still an incomplete doc (like the one with quik); little mention about his work on the chronic / chronic 2001 (which was a turn for him i believe)

I thought they already announced the label that was releasing this?

So sad, sad story... damn I can't watch this a second time
-
the photo, he is in hospital, got stroke, but still listening to music. rip
-
Is anyone able to rip it? Or does anyone know of a way to rip it?
-
It puts into perspective that time period when all the people on this board where whining about there being no new updates for Nate's condition during those two years where it was getting worse.
-
RIP, Nate!
G-Funk Classics 1&2 still my fav records from Nate...

Even if there were updates, it is still no one's business.

Pretty sad episode.
Nate's baby momma is really ugly. I bet the other 6 baby mommas are a bit better looking.
Alcohol is one shitty drug to be addicted to. Seems clear now that Nate basically killed himself with his daily bottle of Hennessy.

He was still drinking after the stroke ?

pretty much, alcohol kills a lot of people each year, though.
Interesting episodes, a few mistakes though, before being released on Breakaway and Navarre, G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 was released on Death Row in 1997 and the single Never Leave Me Alone was released on Death Row in 1996, too, while the editing made it look like it was released at the time when G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 & 2 were released in 1998. Also, I believe Dre was still on Ruthless when he heard the 213 tape and got introduced to Snoop, Warren and Nate. I know when Snoop came in the picture, Death Row (then Def Row) was still supposed to be a sub label of Ruthless and Snoop and Warren were working primarily with Big Hutch. Not sure about Nate though.
I think it was otherwise pretty well documented, especially concerning his private life. too bad they didn't interview his other cousin Half Dead and that they didn't reach to other collaborators like Ludacris, Eminem or JD. They were pretty quick on his Death Row stint too, even though musically it was a very rich period.
