Title: Bones Sountrack or the Wash Soundtrack?
Post by: mlk93 on December 13, 2015, 05:49:19 AM
I was listening to the Bones Soundtrack and i was remebering this CD was out the same year as the wash one . The wash was more diverse and had some dre beat but i think the bones was more cohesive soundwise. And almost all the song sticked to the Jimmy bones concept. What do you think?

Snoop had that Mel-Man joint that was nice, the single.. I bought the album and barely remember anything else off of it, so I would have to definitely go with the Wash.  I still bump Xzibit's joint from the Wash, and the nuthin but a g thang remake Dre did with Snoop "The Wash"... they used the same sample on it, and would've been nice to get a video.  Also Knoc had a couple nice joints on there, he was set to blow at the time, but it never materialized.

What were the other good songs on Bones, I don't remember.

Overall for me Bones is more solid but The Wash has songs that have a lot more replay value than anything on Bones.

That's cause it's Dre.  And one thing about Dre is his stuff always has replay value, because it's always ahead of its time and trendsetting.  I've been bumping Compton on the regular since it came out and it still hasn't grown old on me.  I imagine it will be in my rotation for some time.

Both are weak soundtracks in my opinion, they both have a couple of good songs on them. I gotta go with "The Wash".

I don't know cuzzz... I kind of got to go with Okka on this one.   All 3 were pretty weak, when you think of the standard of artists that were on these soundtracks.   The Wash was the best of the 3 but even it is pretty suspect.  Sure, they had their bangers... like the Dre and Quik joint was a banger for sure.... I guess at the end of the day they were all apart of the West Coast resurgence era from 99-2003
