Suge Knight: The Accusation Crossfire
Suge Knight catapulted the careers of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg on his label Death Row Records, but Snoop left Knight and the label, and that's left some bad blood. So when Snoop Dogg was ambushed by gunfire, fingers pointed towards Knight. Suge talked to Access Hollywood's Pat O'Brien about what happened.
When asked where he was the night Snoop was shot at, Suge told Pat: "I was flying back from New York."
Suge Knight is once again caught in the "accusation crossfire". The latest finger pointed at the rap mogul came on April 10, after former Death Row artist and known-nemesis of Suge's, Snoop Dogg, came under a barrage of gunfire while in his car in Los Angeles.
"It's no secret that you guys don't get along," said Pat to Suge.
"The thing is this: I wouldn't say we don't get along. We don't have a relationship, we've never been around each other, or really been around each other long enough to see what goes on. I really don't know. The only thing I know is I did get approached about it," said Suge.
"Some people are feeling the feud has maybe gone to another level, " said Pat.
Suge went on to explain his take on the situation: "Well you gotta realize one thing. I mean, evidently, I think he's doing a positive thing for himself. He wasn't hanging with none of the people from the ghetto when they shot at him. According to the newspaper, he had eight police with him. So Snoop went from hanging with the boys in blue rags to the boys in blue suits."
The same week of the shooting, Suge's record label -- now known as Death Row's Back -- was also implicated in a wrongful death lawsuit.
"I think it's more like a distortion, really," said Suge.
Suge's company was accused of allegedly supplying drugs to Texas rapper Antron Singleton, "Big Lurch", who is awaiting trial on murder and torture charges of killing his 21-year-old roommate and eating part of her lung. Suge told Access that he didn't know "Big Lurch" and he was never signed with Death Row. He believes this is just another case of people trying to cash in on his success. Death Row has since been dropped from the lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Suge keeps his eye on the work. Death Row will release the soundtrack to Eddie Griffin's movie Dysfunktional Family.

Thanks for that link.
I personally doub that Suge had something to do with Snoop's shooting.
