Damn Quik R & B was on fire in the 90's

Yeah, there's a lot of DJ Quik stuff produced for Jewell (Black Diamond album) and Danny Boy. I think "I Won't Tell" was produced by Quik, or, at least, Quik mixed the song.

it's hard to be a DJ Quik fan
Imagine if someone leaks the entire DJ Quik R&B vaults..

Quik got too much things inthe vault..

Jewell said herself that Demetrius "Meech" Shipp produced most of her stuff.
comment she left on a YT video:
"This is the real JEWELL Much love and Respect to Johnny'J" but Meech (Demetrius Ship) Produced this track and most of my songs that were supposed to be Released on my BLACK DIAMOND Album. As Always Deathrow continues to put out the wrong information, and Allow Other Producers to take credit for SOMEONE ELSE'S SHIT!!!!! SMH. Black Diamond would have been a great album THE ORIGINAL ONE THAT MEECH AND I Produced!"

Jewell hating on DJ Quik..because Snoop Dogg's "Don' Tell" royalties..
It's not Quik fault, blame this on NO LIMIT.
And y'all know DJ Quik in mid 90's was a workaholic, he produced more tracks to Jewell than Woman to Woman and After All.
"Jewell (aka Ju-L, born Jewell Caples, later Jewell Peyton[citation needed]) is an R&B singer who was signed to Death Row Records from 1992 to 1996. She was working part-time - though still unsigned - for IV Life Records. She had a video and charting hit "Woman to Woman", that reached 72nd on the Billboard Hot 100"
Message to Jewell, it's not cool denied the only producer who help you reach the Billboard Hot 100
More consideration, please...

I doubt if she's mad at Quik over that. Maybe she's referring to another version of the album that we haven't heard? Or hell maybe she genuinely doesn't know who produced what? It happens on those big labels where tracks are passed around. Remember Pac being told Dre produced Got My Mind Made Up? Remember Yayo bragging all summer about Dre producing Live By the Gun? Shit happens.

There was a lot of recording sessions with both, Dj Quik and Demetrius Shipp. Johnny J produced a lot of tracks for her too.

That Danny Boy one for sure, but "I Won't Tell" doesn't really sound like his style of mixing or composing. Everything sounded kinda basic and cranked up. Johnny J maybe.
