statik gave crooked i some classic ass beats. I wished crooked i would of killed them beats with that classic death row flow he used to use. crooked i new flow cool but that death row crooked i flow is untouchable.Im a support statik king album. its a good album.
-
He killed this, start to finish.
-
just finished the first half of the CD, WOW!!!!
dead or in jail....jesus this is amazing
-
damn this shit is better than Prhyme by a mile despite the lack of hot guest verses that Royce had
-
best solo body of work ever released by Crooked I.
Static gave him classic beats to play with, and that's part of what makes it, in my opinion, his best project so far.
finally an album reflecting his talent.
a few corny concepts and hooks, as usual, though.
-
Really dope album. :o 8)
-
Very strong. It was smart to keep it short and sweet. Crook came correct and having one producer gave it all a consistent sound.
-
the 1st vid is aight.
-
Amazing album. Crook's best to this date
-

You trolling lol.
I bumped Prhyme the other day, we're going to look back on that album in five years & be amazed how good it was.
This is really, really good & I'm happy for Crooked for finally putting something dope & cohesive together, but this won't get looked back on like Prhyme.

Hack is a master at trolling but I can't say I disagree with him on this one. And I like Royce better than Crook. but Statik KXNG made a greater impression on me upon first listen. Gonna have to listen to both albums back to back and give time to Statik KXNG to grow (or decrease, lol) but I was more impressed by Statik KXNG than PRHYME after the first listen.

I thought prhyme had some generic ass songs on it tbh
Statik kxng has no weak songs yet as someone said I wish crook had 3 verses per song lol
Prhyme disappointed a little bit

Finally a really good album from crooked.
After 2 decades in the game, it is time...

Don't sleep on that young boss vol 2 aka should be debut album
-
the best thing about this duo is that one of my top 10 Crook songs ever is "So close so far" which is the only song I know of these guys doing before...it's from like 2010 ish
and that's when I first knew Statik had heat

I personally always viewed the entire Hip Hop Weekly Series as far more impressive than most albums that have come since that concluded.
-

That's a Statik song. They didnt work together, Crooked took it and freestyled over it.

Yup, I ordered mine from Amazon. The hard copies exist on Best Buy's website too if you want to order from them.

Nah. Go listen to the original. Its a meaningful song about life and the struggle, Crooked I is just freestyling about himself.
