Didn't he have some words for his fans in a similar video like 8 years ago? He shouldn't have even addressed this because now it looks like he's coming off emotional over the opinions of 10 trolls on a message board.
Since Kurupt might read this, and he asked for constructive criticism I'll give him my 2 cents. First, off Kurupt was one of my favorite rappers. Kurupt's lyricism was incredible when he came out. Over time his lyricism faded and he started to, for lack of a better term, "overcuss" in his lyrics and get lazy. Now obviously I don't expect his lyrics to be even remotely clean, but it came to a point where every other word was bitch, fuck, nigga, pussy, etc. His raps didn't make sense, and there was no story. His lyrics became a mix of big words that rhyme, with swear words placed between.
I check out some of Kurupt's newer stuff here and there, and he definitely still makes songs where I'm like "damn, he's still got it!" I just wish he would either tell more stories or get back to his lyrical roots and stop using cuss words as a crutch. Good Whatever direction he chooses, I wish him the best. I grew up on his music and he's got so many tracks that are classics to me.

...anyway, mixed feelings about this one. First off, Kurupt is right, no doubt we got some haters on here that just like to hate on anything even when in truth they are fans. But like DJ Coma said, there are some legit points that could be made. Kurupt went from being flawless at Death Row, to falling off a notch with his first 3 solo albums...still they were solid and had some standout cuts... but then he totally fell off after Space Boogie.
Still Kurupt is a legend and I grew up to his music, so he has nothing left to prove. As far as what he could do better I got to say I agree with DJ Coma's points and I'd add that Kurupt should try dropping some game behind the mic.
...Dubcc also holds Kurupts biggest supporters as well....

I gotta say over the years, dubcc is one of the pioneering forums on the topic of artist/fan relationships. The interviews tied into the discussions on the forum and it had a lot of artists intrigued on what the fans have to say. That's the beauty of the internet, but you gotta take the good with the bad or it will drive you batshit crazy.
Probably was easier before the internet for artists to just have people buy their albums and the only time you hear from them is maybe at a show or signing if their loud enough, but hey at least with the internet you get to see the entertaining characters and opinion (good, bad or hating) from people.

I'm not denying that it's old. I'm saying that dubcnn recently re-upped on their youtube so if you are subscribed to their channel it would have shown up just a few days ago. If you have never seen it you would assume it's new.
