This is a perfect example of the saying, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
The Horseshoe Gang, the Long Beach-bred siblings of Slaughterhouse/Statik KXNG member KXNG Crooked, are just as vicious on the microphone as their older brother, having proven that throughout their own illustrious career with a variety of well-received mixtapes and albums. After a brief hiatus from recording, in which the four would travel the world touring, they are gearing up to release their new LP Anti-Trap Music on April 29th.
To set the album off Julius, Demetrius, Kenny, and Dice are joined by Dominick on its fire-starting introductory track. The five waste no time and spare no expense at delivering hard-hitting bars over production provided by Jonathan Elkaer and DJ E.D.D.E.H. All five go back-and-forth throughout the largely hook-less track, dropping polysyllabic raps for over four minutes. The five start off the work week just right.
