Chuck D say LL Cool J should be inducted first.
-
It shouldn't be called Rock N Roll Hall of Fame anymore if they keep inducting artists that have nothing to do with rock n roll

I dont understand this line of thinking.
I think its awesome that Tupac is being honored.
Noone would care if BET did it.
The world cares when rnrhof does it.

To be honest (no offence), but I couldn't care less whether he was honoured either way or not, but that's just my point of view.
On the other hand, what I was actually trying to say is that it just seems out of place, like if an amazing actor that only does comedy gets given the lifetime achievement drama award only because it carries more weight and somebody decided that he needs to be more recognised. I do realize that there are other people that didn't deal with rock n roll, who were inducted in that hall of fame, so my post wasn't specifically aimed at 2pac's induction, but was more of a general observation.

i feel you.. but the rrhof has really changed lanes in the past with inductees such as nwa, etc.
