Oleg played a fucking blinder.
A suicide pass to Lauren which resulted in him losing an ankle and needlessly conceding the corner the first goal came from.
D'Urso was a disgrace. 6 Minutes??? As if that would have happened had Arsenal had been leading by a goal. If Laville should have gone for 2 fould Romford Pele lol and Henry should have gone.
We still could fuck it up from here big time, but Arsene looks twitchy.

Two points wasted yesterday - this might prove fatal, unfortunately... :P
Oh well. There's still hope for the title, we'll just have to see off Leeds, Southampton and Sunderland (all easy games) with a little help required from Man. Utd's remaining opposition. Add to the fact that all these are home games (with the exception of Sunderland, who are at last place and already relegated), I believe we can pull this off.
And as for Man Utd's final games - I can't see Charlton being a threat, but Everton with an in-form Rooney might just prove a challenge. Simple - United lose to Everton, we win all our remaining games, title is at Highbury. I wouldn't call it realistic but I gotta stay optimist... we'll see what happens.

We've given it too you now, abysmal really, no excuses, just abysmal.
West Ham, Spurs, Southampton, Villa, Bolton, Blackburn, Liverpool, Everton away and Man Utd, Blackburn, Liverpool at home, we should've won all those games, some we were unlucky in but most we underperformed in, its our own fault at the end of the day.
With Cygan, Freddie, Ralph, Sol all out for the remainder of the season, i'm not too optimistic, especially with United playing their best football, all's not lost yet though, i just hope Garry and Pennant get a few games now.
If United win it, i'll hold my hands up and say well done, but there stil could still be a twist in the plot, however unlikely.

well i guess thats it. i want to bo optimistic but the mankers will beat chalton and everton. how we ve not won this league i dont know. well actually i do, we cant hold onto a lead. ive lost count of how many times we have been 1-0 up and drawn or lost.
also we ve never played really that well, leeds and man city the exception. we just have not been consistent.
youve gotta say if the mankers win it theyll have deserved it. theyve won all of their big games, whereas we havent. ever since heskey equalised against us our seasons gone downhill.
the bolton performance summed up our season. sleepwalked through the first half, then 2-0 and looking easy winners, then fuck it up. oleg was a disastour.
i aint confident of 6 points from leeds and southampton.
finally how fucking pathetic were tottenham. that was one of the worst performances i have ever seen. no passion and commitment. why was toda playing?? i think that was his debut, great game to pick glenda.
teddy sheringham summed it all up. hes a first class tosser and i hate him with a passion.

Teddy is, in terms of personality, one of the nicest out there. But he's getting old, and he needs to be dropped back into a Merson-at-Portsmouth position.

We may not win the league this year, but we'll be challenging again next year and the year after, as dissapointed as i am at how we've thrown the title away, i'm unbelievably proud of everyone at the Arsenal football club.
We work year in year out on a fraction of a PLC's budget (let alone man utd's), yet ever since Arsene came to Arsenal we've competed for trophies consistently and been in Europe every year, we've won 2 doubles, been to a UEFA Cup final and qualified for 3 FA Cup finals in a row, we've got the worlds best defensive midfielder, let alone Pires, Freddie, Thierry and Sol.
You can whine about the "London Press" *cough* News Corp *cough* but in reality everything is stacked in United's favour and everyone knows it.
I'm well proud of The Arsenal and what we've achieved in recent years, its amazing what we've done and quite frankly i love 'em.

Joachim, why should u have beaten Spurs away? We completly dominated you for the entire first half and the only reason you actually got a goal in that match was because Kasey Keller is so shit at judging when to come out and when not to.
And I don't think you really wanna kiss Keown's face Jay, he is probably the most ugly footballer ever.

We should've beaten Spurs away because we're a better team then Spurs and if you wanna win the league you have too beat teams like Spurs away from home, just like united did.

The fact remains that if you take away the purchases of Veron and Ferdinand, United spent far less over 10 years than teams like Chelsea and Leeds, maybe Arsenal, and our team is built on British and Irish home grown talent, something that Arsene Wenger has neglected to do with his willingness to bring in foreigners that add absolutely nothing to the team. (Grimandi, Toure, Gilberto, Edu, Stepanovs, Tavliridis, Van Bronckhorst, Wreh and many more).

I have to say, Jay, that I think Gilberto, and to a lesser extent, van Bronckhorst, are both perfectly good players, particularly the former.

Gilberto is a great player, you dont start almost every game of the season in a championshp challenging side if you're no good. Gio has been well unlucky with injuries, he needs a chance and Edu has played well when called upon, ask Roy Keane. Grimandi was a utility player, like Phil Neville, he always gave 110% and loved the club. The rest, yeah you're right, but still look how far we've come.
Also your right, your youth system is top notch and has been for the past decade, but before Arsene came along Arsenal's was a total shambles, he's turned it around and we're about to reap the rewards, Cole, Garry, Bentley, Hoyte, Svard (granted he's danish) and Pennant are all tipped to make the step-up too the first team, plus Aliadiere, our academy has made great progress.
I agree Wenger has been far too keen to bring in a cheap frenchman instead of giving youth a try but i can see that changing with the latest crop of youngsters we've got.

im in the minority of gooners who dont rate gilberto. (that minority is growing though). the lad is out on his feet right now, needs a rest but circumstances dictate he has to play. you could argue that he does a very effective role that goes unnoticed but i dont. but hes won the world cup so hes no mug.
I tell you all now that the future of Arsenal football club is VERY bright. the amount of young talent at the club is immense, and wenger has been making noises recently that he will give them their chance and he knows who they are.
david bently is a very special talent, showcased in his 10 minutes against oxford. garry,svard,thomas,voltz,aliadeire,brown all have great future potentail. and of course pennant, who WILL make the grade and turn into a class player, which he realy is already, he just has a problem with his allitude.
