Title: 30 songs completed for 213 + warren g news

Last night, Warren G was welcomed on Greg Street's radio program on WVEE, V103 in Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. They talked about his speakers and amps that are coming out, and they also had Nate Dogg on the line from California, and he was asked if Warren had given him some speakers and amps and Nate said "Yeah, my last beat came from the swap meet".
Warren also spoke on the highly anticipated 213 (Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Warren G) album and said that they had done 30 songs for it. The album is set to come out at the end of the year, and features some great guest appearances. Be on the lookout for more news on this project soon.

good news.  since they have recorded 30 songs so far, and don't plan on releasing this album till the end of the year, then they better pick the best fucking songs for this album.  I am expecting nothing short of a classic when this album drops.  If this album is anything but classic then I will be very disapointed.  I would rather them drop a classic, or no album at all, because I am sick of paying for this medicore fucking bullshit.

Nima: I wish you could tell exactly that^^^ to warren, nate, or snoop if u interview them soon.  Cause what they have been doing is bullshit.  I have been a fan for years, and I buy ALL their albums, regardless if they are crap or not.  They needa give back to the real fans that pretty much got these mutha fuckin rappers where they are now because of our support.  I bought Nate's music and me, probably the day it came out, and to this day it has maybe gotten at the most 3 listens.  And the tracklist to his new album looks like fucking garbage.

This is great news.  I cant wait for this Album!  And just like Grundy said, I expect nothing but a classic album with this release.  I think westcoast fans have been waiting for an album like this for a long time now.

of course I like them.  I think warren is the most consistent out of all 3 artists.  Problem is, I doubt that they are going to let warren be in charge and play as big a part as he should.  I think warren is highly overlooked and underrated by both the industry and the fans.  Perfect proof:  Music and Me, Last Meal, Paid the cost:  where did warren come into play on these album?  Oh yeah he said a few lines on lb to brick city, wow what a great way to use warren.  Both nate and snoop could have used warren as a guest or producer, but no, they would rather stick with JD, The Neptunes, Ludacris, etc.  I see no reason why warren shouldn't produce the whole album, yet I have a feeling that snoop and nate are going to want to get some wack ass east coast producers.

Yo man Stop with that East Coast producers bullshit. The thing is that they want everybody to buy the album not only the fans , and y'all want 213 to have success but dont want them to be commercial??.Also how can they sell if the only people that will buy the album are the Die-Hard fans that are waiting on this since the early 90's.So if they use good producers they will make a good album that everybody will like, and Im sure Warren G will handle some productions since he's a wack rapper and he should do like Soopafly and bring some new shit.Suure y'all want some G-Funk ,but the the G-Funk is played out get over it fuck and try to listen to other stuff. I think thats the problem with most of y'all , you all are stuck on West Coast Music and dont give a fuck about other shit.

i think ACGrundy's point is that Warren G better have a hand producing some cuts of this album, most likely yeah they will have other producers on this project but since this is a 213 REUNION ALBUM expect warren to do maybe half the cuts, other producers like the neptunes, rockwilder or whoever  well if they get a part in this album they better come with heat

I mostly agree with Acgrundy, Warren G should be put in the situation Fred Wreck is in.
As main producer for Snoop, Dogghouse, 213, Eastsidaz & Nate Dogg.

He's quiet simply the 2nd best producer on the West behind Dre, so letting his talents go to waste is a damn shame.
Too bad Snoop doesn't see this, but he probably looked himself blind on "ROTR" soundsscan numbers.

(You can't blame Ludacris for ripping "You Got What I Want" though, he isn't a producer anyway  ;D)

fans/people keep buyin their wack albums, hence the reason for all these wack producers getting on their albums. you buy some wack album where snoop has jd, neptunes etc producing on it, he's gonna think 'oh they like this shit!' and keep doin  it. if you dont like it DONT BUY IT. i will be waiting to see what the producers & guest appearances are like before i buy anything. any neptunes or jd beats and i will not be spending my $ on it

I'm just speaking my mind on what I think will make a great album.  I think snoop and nate have really been fucking up their albums due to wack ass guests and producers.  I stick by my statement.  Fuck yes I want this album to be G-funk and strictly westcost, and fuck no G-funk isn't played out.  I gaurantee a g-funk album produced 100% by warren g and only having a few westcoast guests, would be way better than a 213 album with 10 different producers and over half from the eastcoast, and guests like eminem, JD, Ludacris, etc.  213 definately can make hits by themselves and with no help from the Neptunes or anyone else, so that is what I wanna see.

gfunk isnt played out....its more underground these days. a 213 album has to be straight westcoast and warren should be the major producer on this one...otherwise its not a true 213 thing.

yes yes and another fuckin yes man

g-funk aint played out !
big fuck goes out to everybody who says that !
is there any info who is the main producer on this 213 album??
if there gonna be all these eastcoast fools, like fabulous on da rap part, neptunes on da beat
this album will suck big time no doubt...
this album only gonna get classic if warren G will be the main producer...
and to the standard phrase : warren g sucks lyrical wise...
i cant understand that...thats another sentence everybody used to say without knowin shit..
peace

Basically I agree with most o the shit y'all have said.. definately let Warren do at least half the cuts... and get tha boy Quik on at least one song! lol how can they overlook Mista Quikster? :) n yeah for sure, drop a double CD reunion, the fans have been waiting a fkn long time. If nothing else just stick the old songs on one cd like someone already mentioned, or better yet drop another cd with old songs and a double cd full of new cuts. Ah well... we'll see

I totally agree witcha AcGrundy, they got to keep it west coast. This is the reunion we've all waitin for, and they know it, so they (hopefully) dont wanna fuck the fans wit something this big.

Tho Warren's my fav producer (followed by Quik and, yes, after those two, Mr Dre), I could handle outside production. But maybe just for 3-4 songs. They gotta keep it 75% Warren and get Dre, Quik, Soopafly or maybe Fredwreck to diversify a lil bit the sound of the album. Guest rappers should be kept to a minimum and strictly west coast (pleeze, no Eminem in here, just Kurupt, X, Daz and so...).

Oh yeah this is to adress all the peeps that say "oh g funk is played out, you want to see these rappers sucessful, you want them to sell records, they need to branch out, they need to try something new, if they only made music for the diehard fans then they wouldn't sell much...blah blah blah"

Let's take a look at Music and me:

I don't think nate could have made it anymore commercial.  I don't think he could have branched out to more guests and producers, I think he tried something new, he stayed away from the g funk.  And he sold jack fucking shit.  Nate's fans are the ones who bought the chronic, doggystyle and doggfood, not these fucking jackasses that buy nelly, ja rule, and eminem was the first rappper they ever listened to.

Next point: Snoop dogg.  How well was paid da cost doing before beautiful came out as the second single?  Pretty fucking shitty, and now even with beautiful he still is barely selling above platinum.  And the same case with this album as with nate's.

most fans of these westcoast artists didn't become fans from albums like last meal, or paid da cost, or music and me.  They were fans long before those albums, and they don't wanna hear the shit music that these artists have been making in order to get the attention of other fans.  Now I want someone to truthfully tell me that they want Nate to make another Music and Me, rather than a G-Funk classics, and they would rather have snoop make another paid da cost rather than a doggystyle.

1 more thing, I really liked paid da cost, but it could have been much better.

i can only agree once again grundy...
lemme add the followin..

music & me got some pretty good songs i think, that i got on ( own ) best of nate dogg
but paid da cost is a horrible album..aint feelin it..only that track ft. the dramatics, ballin or fallin is worth listenin to, but this track is bout 2 years old..haha
so snoop came wit shit only, on his new album

id love to see the album,im more a fan of good muzik than of these particular artists,im not the biggest snoop fan,but i think the 3 of these cats can create a good dynamic,.....

as for what producers,i would like to hear a very west coast disc, but at the same time varied, not JUST warren on the production,.

I agree again Acgrundy, they didnt sell shit cause fans are the same who was down since the old gfunk days. But look at warren. He's done kept gfunk and his album failed miserably. I know, it aint half as good as regulate and so, but it's still a bangin west coast album, and it sold aluminum...

I think GFunk need some HEAVY promotion to bring it back to the world, let them know we still here.
