I love Wale (because he's from DC and I used to live there) but his albums never succeed to convince me... it has good songs but as a whole I feel like it's just a compiltation of songs and not a well rounded body of work like he's capable of providing but he does not...

The Gifted was really his only solid album to me, Ambition had it's moments too but outside of that I never vibed well with his other albums

I've always liked Wale, but have a hard time getting through his albums. But you can always find some amazing songs on them. With that said, this is easily his worst album. It sounded like he's trying to be Drake, but use his African heritage as a way to justify using more Afro-Caribbean beats. It's not that it's terrible, it's just not what I'm use to from Wale.
