I think its bad business when people put out Anti-war tracks now-a-days...

With 70% of the US in support of the war, you're bound to end up alienating some of your potential customers.

Artists make music for the whole world and the world is not only the U.S. homeboy...

Good idea, although i'd like to hear some more political rappers on this song.

I'm willing to bet that the majority of rap music buyers are from the United States.

Anyway i dont really feel the lyrics. I mean i understand Fred Wreck being from Palestina and hating Bush, but the others? Shit a group of so-called "Gangsters" talking about peace and fuck the police in the same time? I dont know. I'm not saying it's wrong to say what they said. I just think this track will only cause more problems to the West Coast. I know Bush doesnt give a flying fuck about them all, but.. you know what i mean? To make a track like that when the war is over... i dont kno. Why?
"Saddam Hussein was down with us".  ::)

Track misses Goldie Loc..

I would like to see Goldie, Snoop, Nate & Warren replace Everlast, Mac Minister & Dilated, that would have made it a super-DPGC track..

I'm gon cry if this isn't released EXPLICIT..
Fred Wreck's best beat EVER.

The beat is not bad. Sounds good, but Fred is always coming with some heat, so it's nothing really special. I like to see that RBX is also on the track...

FINALLY West Coast rappers talking about some real shit again. Sounded great to hear RBX, Daz, Soopa and them talking about this shit. I hope this leads to more political raps from these and others, its a very welcome change.

Superb beat by Fred too. This my song of the year so far. Only thing missing was Kam.

What the hell is Fred Wreck's problem????? If he hates America so much why don't he move back to Palestine? We don't need him here.

Not only isFred Wreck a complete idiot for opposing the war, he is a complete idiot for releasing an anti-war song after the war is over and it has been proven to be a smashing success.

Hey, I've got a song here by a guy called "Have you forgotten" about how we should be over kicking everybody's ass, would you like to hear it?  No, thank you?  Oh, I understand, you're just not interested? Since I'm a mature individual, i'll respect that you simply aren't interested in the concept of the song.

LOL ^^ You sound like you lost somebody in it.  You're so bitter.... are you american? How does it feel to know that 80% of americans don't agree with you on this? If you're not, who cares?
Title: Re:Anti war song produced by Fredwreck
Post by: Z the laidback Virus on May 04, 2003, 12:27:44 PM
That's exactly what's wrong with the american view on non-americans,you think you can do just about anything and the american view only matters. It's shortsighted, ignorant & terribly arrogant. I totally agree with the Fred Wreck and the rappers on "Down with us." And how could someone here possibly say we don't need Fred Wreck? ??? ::) He brings the heat, right now he's the most consistently dope westcoast producer (after Dre possibly, but he can't really be considered westcoast these days  ;))

^^ It's american politics.  Therefore, if you're not american, you have no say in it.  If you don't like it, go bitch to the u.n., they're good at handling out of control governments, just look at the wonders they accomplished with saddam.
